I don't remember if it was "appears" or "AUDIENCE."

Back in the heyday of Napster in 2001 (seems like a century ago!), I looked up Ayu upon a friend's insistence. Although I downloaded two songs simulataneously, I chose to listen to vogue first. While I love the song now, I was not particularly impressed, and I couldn't see what the fuss was over. I opted to wait until I heard the second song before forgetting about this "Hamasaki Ayumi" person for good.

The second song was evolution, which, of course, sealed the deal.

I was really into Utada Hikaru back then, & I heard that Ayu was her "rival", so I was curious. I was also really into Final Fantasy at the time (never even played the game lolz) so I searched for Final Fantasy w/ Ayu fan videos. I found this /awesome/ video & I loved the song (it went so well with the video) The rest is history~

Must have been Boys & Girls... Back in the day I used WinMX to download music and when I searched ayumi hamasaki practically 90% of the results was Boys & Girls and its remixes. :p
