I know what you mean, KaoriNeko. After watching episode 4, I was wondering if I was going to stick with it (I like Nino so...). But last night I watched ep 5 (I'd recorded it last Friday) and it was really fun!!! Plus I like the side story with the teachers.

I'm new to Arashi so I meant to ask... was Kiroi Namida a movie release (I know, I'm in Japan, but I barely watch TV--save for kids' shows--so I have NO idea what's in movie theaters)? Has anybod seen it? I read a description of the story, and I'm interested.

I think KN was released in theaters...I believe it came out sometime last year. I remember they released Aozora Pedal around the time they were either filming or releasing KN.

The five members of Arashi appear together on the big screen again in the highly anticipated Kiiroi Namida, a.k.a. Yellow Tears. Director Inudou Isshin, whose previous works include Touch, Maison de Himiko, and Across a Gold Prairie, strikes the right balance of compelling drama and coming-of-age tropes in following the hopes and trials of five young men in post-war Japan. With all the members of Arashi in a film together for the first time since Pikanchi, Kiiroi Namida inevitably bears the label of an idol movie, but it is much more than that. Sounds like a pretty good movie. I'm thinking about buying it... or at least renting it from Tsutaya.

That sounds sad! T_T But I really want to see Ohno's acting skills. He only does butai so I never get to see him.

I want "Kiiroi Namida"~! ;_; I've only seen MatsuJun's acting so far, so I'm curious as to the other members. (I downloaded the first episode of "Kisarazu Cat's Eye", but didn't really watch it.)
Has anyone watched one of the "LIFE IS HARD dakara HAPPY" movies? Or both?

^I haven't watched either. T_T I see them up for download at Veoh but I always forget to download them. Has anyone seen Tokyo Tower with Matsujun? That movie's pretty good.

^No, but I'd like to. What I don't understand: Does MatsuJun play in the drama, movie or in both? Because I've seen an ad for the movie and it starrs Odagiri Joe, while the drama has a V6 guy. Meaning: They have a different cast and I think MatsuJun plays in the drama? I don't get it, honestly...

I didn't know that they had a drama called Tokyo Tower...The movie has Matsujun in it. It's about these two young college guys who only date older women who're married. I can't remember if Matsujun is in love with his older woman like the other guy is, but yeah. Oh, and we get to see Matsujun in a bathtub. ^.^

^I see, thanks. ^^ Bathtub? x3 That reminds me of this show where Arashi members were babysitters, while their parents went somewhere. And in one episode with Ohmiya, Ohno went bathing with the two kids. ^^

I saw a TV movie and a few of the drama episodes of Tokyo Tower, but not the movie. I'll have to look into that!! In fact, I've never seen any movie starring Arashi, save for Letters from Iwojima (although I have to say I didn't understand everything... it was in Japanese, NO subtitles). Tsutaya, here I come!!
Oh yeah, I've pre-ordered my copy of Kiiroi Namida at Amazon.co.jp. It's the limited edition because I'm such a sucker for collector's items!

Has anyone (I first typed ayuone... o_o) watched "Bokuimo"? I've only seen a trailer so far.
