To be honest PARADISE is kind of lacking. I loved Aitai Riyu and even Makenai Kokoro is a song that I play sometimes in my head . But PARADISE just wasn't for me. I wonder if they'll release a really nice Winter Ballad one day?

Did you guys watch Music Station? They were really good, even though I don't like the song. Nissy was ever smiling. They're also going to be on Kohaku this year. They are slowly getting more and more recognized.

Maybe Ayu and Naoya can perform Dream ON somewhere? That would be cool. But I think the release date December makes that possible because Ayu will promote Love Songs at the End of the Year and Christmas shows.

AAA will release a new single & their 6th original album next year. The album is called Buzz Communication and will be released on 16th of February, yay. Source And Nishi will be in a new drama from January on. He will play a high school student, haha. And Shin released a nice photobook these days, too. But if you're in AAA fandom you surely know all this stuff already.

I never thought I would say that but Ayu fans are slowly but steadily getting on my nerves more every minute the collab with Naoya goes on. First thing, is it so hard to learn his name properly? Naoya Urata is not a hard name to remember it is relatively short and now that they read and hear it all the time they still misspell it or call him "that guy". And all this "He is ugly" "Could he be any gayer" "He cannot sing" What kind of immature brats are these people? It makes me so angry, because I really like the collab, but some Ayu fans are obviously arrogant and cannot seem to let anybody else take the spotlight. Poor Ayu, having people like this as fans. Anyway, I really liked the TV performance of Dream on on CDTV. Probably the only time we get to see it live, but it was nice & cool.

Be quiet.

Honestly, I listen to AAA for 2 years now & I don't know the name of the singers but Naoya Urata (because he sings with Ayu) & Nishijima Takahiro (because I saw him in ghost friends).
But I agree that a name is not hard to remember.
Moreover, in another website, all people let some comments about Ayu only on the dream ON page. I was a bit disappointed because nobody mention Naoya-kun & nobody talks about Ayu as the producer of the single, but only as a singer.
But we can't change people.

I hope they'll have some new good songs in that album. i mean, their last singles were a bit similar with same sounds. I would like something new.

Yay for new album!!

I've honestly been staying out of the Dream On threads... pretty much for the reasons you guys mentioned.

When I heard Ayu was doing a collab with a guy from AAA, even though I read the name "Urata Naoya", I immediately thought of Nishi's voice paired with Ayu's and got really excited. When I realized that it wasn't Nishi, but Urata... I was actually kind of disappointed. I think it could have been better with Nishi, (it would, of course, have been a different style) but I'm not complaining, since it'll probably help AAA's publicity.

I can kind of understand where the Ayu fans are coming from, though. The more I watch Urata, the more I feel like he has a bigger view of himself than is reality. That being said, I think some Ayu fans have a smaller view of him than is reality. Like, without Ayu, he wouldn't have sold anything. A big ol' zero on the Oricon. I agree that she probably helped with sales because of the extra hype, but I don't think the only people buying the single were Ayu fans. I bought that single to support AAA and Urata.

At the same time that I'm happy for him, I hope his solo career doesn't hurt the group. ):

Otherwise, I'm super excited for the new single and album!! I only casually listened to AAA before this, but I'm planning on buying this next album. HEARTFUL was so amazing that if this next album is even half as good... *w*

Oh, by the way, Aitai Riyuu did NOT win the Japan Record Award - EXILE's I Wish for You won, their third consecutive (first since Ayu back in 2003 and first by a male artist - only second time!).

^I wish for you is a great song, so it doesn't surprise me that it won. (Even though I'm usually baffled at the amount of popularity of EXILE, they do have some catchy tunes) But nothing beats Aitai Riyuu for me. It's probably my favourite AAA song ever, I just love it so much.

I think nobody doubts that a large amount of success of Dream On comes from Ayu. And of course Naoya does realize this. I don't know how he is supposed to act? People seem offended that he did a song with Ayu, but I actually doubt that it was his idea from the start. Ayu has a different relationship with Naoya, she doesn't have a relationship with Nishi. She answered to the question what AAA are to her "my little brother is a member". Ayu knows Naoya for years now, she is his senior, his mentor - and in a way she discovered him. I don't get what is so wrong with that collab or the need to put Naoya down that I constantly see here and at other places. (not directed at you, lividlillies)

I knew of Ayu's relationship with Naoya, how he was her dancer and helped him get started. Rather, I was just thinking of the amazing ballads she and Nishi could do. *_* That said, I haven't listened to Dream on in its entirety yet, but what I have heard sounds really good.

I actually don't know how Naoya's been behaving since the single, but I'm sure its been tasteful. Out of stage performances in tours and lives, he's my least favourite--but I think that boils down to personal taste in the end, and what type of stage presence a person wants from their singers/actors, rather than real ability (because he certainly gets a large scream from the crowd!).

Also, I really think Ayu was the one who wanted to do this single. I cannot for a minute imagine Naoya "bothering" her about it. I think she wanted to do this for him and made it happen. The fact that she produced it makes me think that she wanted to do a collab but didn't get enough support and decided to just "make it herself". I think their relationship is really sweet, actually. ♥

Also: Out of Aitai Riyuu and Dream After Dream, I prefer Dream After Dream. Aitai Riyuu is a really good song, though. My all-time favourite song by AAA is Brand New World, but I think that's an album song, so it didn't get a PV. >:

AAA did only a short version of Aitai Riyuu at Kouhaku. They were cute nonetheless and didn't even sound that nervous, but I think I saw Chiaki make some dancing mistakes.

I just finished watching it! They did really good, and their costumes were really cool! They must have been really excited to be there! It's a big deal, right?

Didn't he just go to Mt. Fuji, too? I guess he's doing some travelling for a New Years break. Sounds fun! Shinjiro already asked him to bring back souvenirs (on twitter). XD

It would be really cool if Ayu wrote a ballad for Naoya, like they are talking about on twitter! I just watched Heart to Heart Tour (what an amazing concert) and I think I nearly fell of the sofa when Misako & Naoya make out in the Heartful Bar to Kuchibiru Kara Romantica. I read about it - but seeing it was different. Certainly not bad though, haha, I like dirty stuff.

5th Anniversary DVD will be released in March. Can't wait for this and their concerts in *gasp* Saitama Super Arena...amazing.

Ever since Komuro has been producing AAA's music, I've become much more interested :3

Previously, I don't think I gave AAA a chance, haha. When they debuted I wasn't really interested in artists besides Ayu and Kuu haha.

But now I really can't wait for their new album! I like the title a lot~ I'm even contemplating buying the album+single combo on mu-mo hehe :3 And joining their fan club xD

That'd make me a member of TeamAyu, NEXT DOOR and AAA Party haha. But I haven't decided on whether to join or not >_<

^What kind of advantages to you get for being in AAA Party? I would decide based on what you get for your money. For example you can read the blog entries even if you aren't in the fanclub and I think AAA are not yet that big, that not getting concert tickets would be an issue, right?

Buzz Communication Covers are out. I don't like them that much, Heartful Covers were much cooler. Some of these clothes are horrible. Anyway they still manage to look nice - even wearing these clown outfits. *cough*

I think I'll be able to make a more concrete decision when I see a bigger version, but they don't look too bad... Of course, I'm really interested in what type of weird thing they have Shuuta dressed in. o_o;;

Even though it's expensive, I kind of want to get the CD+2DVD version. *w* Disc 1 is a 90 minute live, I think? Hmm... but, the 2nd DVD doesn't have the same stuff as the CD+DVD. No Off-shots. D:

What do you think is better?

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to share this while I remembered:

http://community.livejournal.com/random_jblogs/tag/aaa

This person likes to translate blogs and she's doing a lot of AAA's, so I thought I'd share it if people haven't seen already.
