How's it an embarrassment. Have you seen the sales for Alive/Physical Thing and Can We Go Back? This is a complete turnaround for Kumi in terms of sales. @_@ I like how you drag irrelevant artists into your post for no apparent reason.

considering that you're someone that listens to Johnny's supposedly , you should already be very familiar that a selling power of a solo artiste is not up there as compared to a group at this day & age

but from various posts you have posted on the forums , it speaks otherwise to me

& I agree with what Bryan said . Gossip Candy's 1st week sales is probably her highest since 3 SPLASH & it's something worth celebrating for

The reason that Avex doesn't care to release Kuu's stuff at times when there is no competition is because she has no records to keep. Ayu's got that number one thing, so they have to tip-toe around dates. With Kuu, I doubt they care what position she makes, they just want the profits.

SKE48 (as they are called) sold more physical copies, but Koda Kumi completely obliterates them on the download charts. And, well, everything else you've said is pretty much drivel and others have responded to it already so eh.

Sorry about it, but why am I trolling? I'm not a troller, usually, but I'm having some etiquette issues here... After all, I'm in special education at my high school for social issues, I have to be honest...

But with the changing conditions in the music industry, I think Kuu (along with Ayu) is more towards the digital side, while Arashi might be more on the physical side. Don't know why...

Well, I guess trolling might be a strong term, but it did come off as a bit pointless because it seemed like you came in her just to call Kuu an embarassment : P.

It's most likely because Johnny's doesn't release PC downloads or Chaku-Uta Full downloads. If you want the whole Johnny's song you're forced to buy the physical single.

Okay, so that's why Johnny's artists' sales are quite "inflated" because of that... Now I see, especially when I was waiting to a response fot that particar question...

And remember - Japanese pop, like automobiles, do have competition!

BUT the sales for Gossip Candy are really good compared to her last singles!
And Lollipop do well on the DL charts so i don't know whats the problem!

And she already said in an interview (tenshi translated), that she doesn't care about to have massive sales as long she release good music!
