I agree with Kagami,no matter how much she gives, if there are others who are donating, comparisons are gonna be inevitable.

Anyway, if she's doing a little or a lot for her people, that's a thought that only concerns to her, nobody else. The world is gonna spin round and round, no matter what.

Annoying. But I don't let it bother me because I know ayu has done so much and I know she has donated a lot to her homeland.

A donation means giving something, not necessarily money. A lot of her twitters were information and advice. It just shows how materialistic some people are! How much did their newspaper donate? (Pro-rata, what percentage of their budget?)

Its better that Ayu donated a million yen than giving nothing!
I can't believe that there are people had lots of nerves to do this in the midst of dark times >:\

They're seriously doing this? What a petty thing to mention. > Shame on the media for making this sound like a competition!

o.O

Ummm.... think twice before you call it ridiculous. Japan needs money, it's a fact and all amount is welcome. It's not ridiculous. It was a mean thing to say.
TV: Ayu donates too little!!
You: Namie donates too much!!

...just saying.

^ Yeah, I think I was saying thing earlier... Ayu donates more then just money. I mean most of these people dont even want money. They want food, shelter, cloths, water.. not money. and Ayumi donates all that. Im not too sure about the shelter, but im sure she would if she could.

That's just ridiculous. She has been tweeting every day helping people, donating, the whole T-shirt thing, and I'm sure she's been sending practical things to help. There is no way they got her donation total right... This is her home country we're talking about, and she obviously cares about it a lot, or she wouldn't have done all of these things for Japan. Tabloids should be ignored

I don't know what to say to this.
I think it's selfish of Japanese people to say this.

"Namie donated big amounts of money to Japan, ayu has to do it too!"
But the people in Haiti and starving children in Africa, it doesn't matter that nobody donates to them..

Somehoe I understand, that they say this, but it makes those who said it much more selfish than ayu.

Even if it wouldn't have been Ayu they were "bashing" about it would still be mean and hurtful. Ayu is doing more than enough, so are many other also non-celebrities. For me it feels like she's with Japan with her whole soul (if u understand) and she also told all of her staff to "stop working and be with their families."

PinkShinigami: But Ayu and Namie live in Japan and the earthquake hurt their country and Japanese families and for them it seems to be more important because it's happening to them. U know?
