After School's Jooyeon to leave the group

After School's Jooyeon will be leaving the group.

Her contract with Pledis Entertainment is expiring on the 31st, and she's planning not to renew the contract. She'll be leaving both the group and the label, and her last activities as After School will be the Chinese concert she has on the 31st.


An insider said, "As Jooyeon acted continuously even when she was in After School, she wants to try various things including acting after leaving After School."

Pledis Entertainment denied that After School's Jooyeon might be leaving.

The label told TenAsia, "We're talking about her situation." The label denied that it's confirmed that she's leaving, but admitted that her contract period was coming to an end.


However, they reassured fans that Jooyeon will still be present at the performace on the 31st with the rest of After School.

I hope is not true! Juyeon was not my favorite member at first but I've grown to like her a lot inside the group

By the way there is some rumour going about the girls preparing a new album for next year. It must be their 2nd korean album (they have no singles to support a japanese album)
