KAT-TUN to release their first original album in 4 years titled "CAST"

KAT-TUN is dropping their newest album “CAST” on July 18. The group last released their best album “10TH ANNIVERSARY BEST “10Ks!” on March 2016 prior to their break. Restarting after a roughly 2 year recharging period, it’s been 3 months since the release of the single “Ask Yourself”, “CAST” is their first original album in roughly 4 years, and is infused with the feelings this group has for [the future] from the three members, each releasing their own unique qualities, and packages up KAT-TUN as they continue to walk forward.

To reward their waiting fans, “CAST” will have 17 new songs including album lead song “Unstoppable” and 3 member solo songs. And as if to give a nod to the remaining 3 member letters remaining in the group, the album will also contain project song “薫 (Kun)” CASTing special movie featuring the three members of KAT-TUN in a special dramatic format.

Also, along with the release of this album, the “KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2018 CAST” arena tour has also been announced, starting on August 4th at Marine Messe Fukuoka and continuing to 8 locations across the country. Please look forward to the restarted KAT-TUN’s hot summer!

KAT-TUN Announces "CAST", First New Album In 4 Years

KAT-TUN has announced that it will be releasing a new studio album titled "CAST" on July 18.

The album will contain 17 songs, 16 of which will be new. While the full track list has not been released, the group did tease the lead track "Unstoppable", as well as 3 solo tracks from the group's members.

3 versions of the album will be available upon release: a Regular Edition (CD-Only), and 2 different Limited Edition (CD DVD) versions.

Following the release of the album, the group will be embarking on an arena tour titled "KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2018 CAST". The tour will start on August 4 and ends October 21.

"CAST" will be KAT-TUN's first new album in over 4 years, and its first since restarting activities this year. The group's last studio album "come here" was released on June 25, 2014.

KAT-TUN announce new album & arena tour

KAT-TUN will release their new album "CAST" on July 18.

This marks the group's first album since "come Here" was released about four years ago in June of 2014. In addition to their latest single "Ask Yourself," the album will include 16 new songs. Furthermore, Limited Edition B will contain a project song called "Kaori," and the Regular Edition will come with a bonus track.

Both limited editions will be packaged with a DVD with Limited Edition A containing the PV and making for the album's lead track "Unstoppable," while Limited Edition B will include a special movie starring the members.

To coincide with this album's release, KAT-TUN will hold a nationwide arena tour starting in August.

Akanishi Jin reveals jacket cover and track list for 'A la carte'



The jacket covers and track list for Akanishi Jin's rearrange album "A la carte" (August 1 release) have been revealed.

I'm going to keep my expectations for CAST low cos this's the 1st full album that 3 nin KAT-TUN release so I'm not sure what to expect

But since they did a pretty good job with the songs in Ask Yourself & also based on how kick ass Unstoppable sounds , I think they'll be fine

Johnnys albums are notoriously hard to listen but if I get pleasantly surprised then I'm not going to complain about it
