Her Korean stuff are the best, IMO. Maybe it's because she sounds more natural in her first language.

Yeah I do like her Korean stuff but I like to listen to her Japanese stuff b/c I've found that they tend to have better instrumentals. That may sound dumb but when a song has a good beat and bad lyrics I can just shut out the voice and listen to the BG music. For example, Maki Goto's "Shiawase Desu Ka?" has a really good beat IMO, but I don't like her voice too much in that song. That's why I like both the Japanese and Korean stuff of BoA. Either it's the lyrics that are good, or the beat, or both. But I must agree that her dancing can get kind of annoying sometimes(Kimochi wa tsutawaru, atlantis princess, ID;Peace B, and a few others).

Maybe try listening to the original Sexy 8 version then . . . and I think another H!P group/person did a version of that song too. Gosh, does Tsunku like recycling

yes and no.

yes - good singing, dancing and looks overall. she's in my top five for sure. i usually check out what she has.

no - singing and dancing gets repetitive, as with all her songs i've listened to. theres just not much variety in her music.

BoA is cool... So are Ayu and Hikki... These people saying that they suck are not listening well.. ^^ I think... Their songs are cool and heartwarming... leh... needless to say, I think they all rocks!!!

She's alright. I enjoy her older songs the most though, especially her Korean ballad "I'm Sorry". I love that song. ^_^

Some of her songs are alright. Most of the ones I've heard aren't my cup of tea per se. "B.I.O" is alright (one hell of driving song), "I.D. Peace; B" would be better if the guitars were a little louder in the mix and the choir section was cut out. She is pretty much hit and miss with me, but mostly miss.
