Wait... if ayu's sales is half than hikki's, why is there such a huge gap between their income? ayu's sales are half of hikki's yet ayu's income is nearly one third of hikki's... where the hell did those other stuff come from?
either utada makes more money from her advertisements, or hikki's record company contract gives hikki a larger income from sales than ayu. or both. Just my guess :p

I'm quite surprised that Mocchi (ELT singer) is in the top five of females... ELT barely released anything with phenomenal sales in 2004. mika nakashima may have even sold more than her.

For advertising campaigns, Hikki gets LOTS more than Ayu, so that's probably why 'cos Hikki is the highest-paid female singer and the 4th highest-paid female [among them all] for advertisings.

Ok I admitt that one was pretty brutal but for the most part I think any "attacks" on Hikki have been slim to none. I don't think many people here hate Hikki because she makes more money than Ayu. Anyway, its not really a big deal.

Jealousy is a deadly poison. I don't think any fan on either side should need to question/bash any other artists' worth, ability to earn, quality of music/singing, and/or level of popularity in stupid comparision like taxes paid.

And despite what any overly exicted fans want to say, I will keep on loving Hikki and Ayu just about as much.

BTW!! This is one very old thread that got bump up! (one of those things again)

PS: kettobase is a lovely song, one of Hikki's more underrated one.

PS: kettobase is a lovely song, one of Hikki's more underrated one.

If it's "I want you baby" , it sounds a lot more like "I want your baby"... it's kind of distrubing... the rest is okay, but she just needs to work on that part...

I mean, she's good, but she doesn't have what she had before... she will NEVER beat "first love".... I love her, but i love the old utada, and the Utada that has sad love ballads...
