I think SE7EN is trying to be a hip-hop artist, which means he has to do a certain style of music and lyrics to become popular in the States. Writing lyrics like Kelly Clarkson with hip-hop beats would just be a hot mess, IMO.

^Plus Kelly Clarkson would suck, like she always does.

I hope his albums isn't littered with collabs to try and get him some cred. That'd piss me off.

Well, if "Girls" is any indication, he can definitely pull off a great single by himself. I'm really impressed with that song, but not so much by his song with Three 6 Mafia. Sorry, but this guy and Three 6 Mafia do not mix :
