I am going to see AKB48 @ Anime Expo! Wow....it was kind of a spontaneous decision....my parents offered to take me and my sister to some expensive Vegas circus thingy and I was like....why not save a few bucks and attend the Anime Expo here in LA (I've always wanted to and never did it) and when I saw while paying that the concert was only $30 i couldnt pass it up. xP I would go on Day 3 to watch the singing competition but we leave for vegas on that day so I picked day 1 (dunno the singers from Day 2 but that day wasnt convenient anyway) and AKB... So what AKB songs are good? I've tried them out and I really like Iiwake Maybe and RIVER....and Ponytail....and Baby! Baby! Baby! but thats about it.

^ Sakura no Shiori is amazing, like a choir. I like Ponytail to Chouchou too, but that song is for people who like Morning Musume-y music

"SET LIST ～Greatest Songs 2006-2007～ " is still my favorite album.

Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru, Virgin Love and Skirt Hirari are especially great songs.

i saw a very sad news, posted at AyuChina....it seems that an old member of AKB48, 中西里菜, Rina will be debuting in AV(that's adult video). she has a idol photobook already and will be debuting on 27th August, the AV DVD is 3990yen

this is a big news, and AKB fans are quite worried, as the members are package to be pure and innocent, but having an ex-member in AV line is worrying their record company now.

i feel sad for Rina.... the company said she left the team due to asthma and back injuriy, but the real reason till now is unknown as she never say anything about her departure in public.

I guess you haven't seen the DVDs released before a member graduates from AKB48, they are called "Insert Member Name Here～AKB48 Graduation～" and they are really sugestive

The lyrics of Seifuku ga Jama wo suru aren't made for a group of 'pure' girls I think

The coreography of Skirt, Hirari is a little pervish too

There are published photos of AKB48 Team B member simulating oral sex with her boyfriend in purikura. She was fired but a year later she was in AKB48 again.

Just got back from the AKB48 show @ Anime Expo. Hmmmm....very fun overall....lots of energy. I heard 4/5 of the songs I wanted to: RIVER, Iiwake Maybe, Sakura no Shiroi, and Ponytail to Chouchou. I hoped for Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru too but the show was good. I think they lip-synced a good portion of it though. Also randomly saw a jpop duo named RSP while wandering around. They totally remind me of LOVE from LDH. My dream is for Perfume or maybe alan to attend next year!

Yeah. It was a good show....but I felt like I really should have not paid for it....our seats were good....not in the back but not too close....but I could have gone for free. Half the theater was empty. Oh well....next year I will remember. They're all so gorgeous in real life......Acchan especially but I think the cutest one had to be Oshima Yuko.
