This avex PDF states the real sales of A BEST 2 by March 2007 (the sales that avex/ayu got money on)

A BEST 2 -WHITE- + DVD - 600,000
A BEST 2 -WHITE CD only - 310,000
A BEST 2 -BLACK- + DVD - 600,000
A BEST 2 -BLACK- CD only - 320,000

1,800,0000 in total.

They state that it brought more value than other regular products. XD
AND they say that even with the really high price, the contents are really appealing so it brought up good sales with even such a price!

In other words the projects' sales were really good and the most money inserting albums this year of an avex artist I suppose.
Even with kumi and the avex's boy bands around, ayu is still avex's secret weapon XD

Well it's good to know that these albums were a success. I guess avex is happy to get over 1 million in the end. Gotta agree they were expensive. I still have to get around to purchase them.

Also something interesting to note from that report is that mu-mo subscriptions have increased. Meaning more people are buying online and less are buying physical releases.

Hell yeah they were expensive. Damn near cost me $100 for both limited press versions.
