I think the cover could have been better. Mariah's personal look is simple and classily sexy, but the feathers are big and distracting and seem like they belong in another photo. It's a kind of unsuccessful combination of beaty and tackiness - they should have just picked one style or the other. Mariah could look at home in both, but this 50/50 cover doesn't really suit her.

I actually like the cover, even though I'm a bit disappointed that it's not the picture with the hat that was posted earlier.

Definitely 100% better than Madonna's new cover, that's for sure. I like Madonna and I'll be getting the album regardless of the cover, but that doesn't stop me from thinking it's just terrible.

I think the cover is trying to cover up any... awkwardness with her body, so that people won't point out any obvious photoshopping when she appears live..
