She is scientifically correct but man those fluid things... they don't happen until you're pregnant! Lol.

Well, though the scandal has affected scales, I hope things will be better once the matter is forgotten. I mean humans all make mistakes and our words are always misunderstood anyways.

Okay, a lot of you guys don't get the cultural context here, so let me explain.

1. Japan has a really low birth rate right now. In some really small country towns they're even offering money to couples who have children.
2. This is due to a lot of factors - poor communication between men and women and marriage gender roles women are beginning to not accept (so they just don't get married), more women in the workforce, and the extreme costs of raising a child, among other things.
3. Many women are having kids later.

I'm a working female (yeaaahh I guess) who really has no idea when/if I'm going to get married and I'm really not keen on the idea of having children because it's a big commitment both emotionally and financially. This might change when I'm actually financially stable, but that may not even happen until I'm 30. So Kuu's comment is kind of offensive to me, because it's telling me that my working lifestyle is wrong and I should be popping out babies whether or not I want to. Yeah, maybe SHE can afford a kid right now, but a lot of under-30s, both in Japan AND in the US, can't. And some don't want to and there's really nothing wrong with that.

Anyway, I think the AMOUNT of controversy over this is kind of ridiculous, but I just maybe wanted to explain since I think the majority of you are younger than me

Yes, people were offended, and it was appropriate, but I just do not think they should've gone so far as to cancel the promotion

Poor Kumi. I really want her to succeed since Kingdom sounds like it will rock [still haven't listened to full songs nor watched PVs - not until my copy arrives]. But wasn't there a rumor of her releasing a 4 A-side again in April as a tie-in for a drama?

The solution is just cry and reveal her story to reach the #1 position. How much she was rejected by avex, how much she was rejected by her family, and stuff would help her now.

it's weird in a way because
all those release are coming after we have the news she won't do promotion etc. for a month
and a 3rd best..isn't it too much? 3 best in 3 years :S


I hope for her that after a month everything will have calm down
and be normal or near normal
still I don't agree with what she said, what I mean is that I think she shouldn't have said it on radio since I think it's something important in japan

she apologized and from what we've heard she is really depressed
so let just stop talking about it and support her

still I don't like the fact they stopped Kingdom promotion, because it's going to affect the sales and this album deserves really good sales

fan-net usually gets info quite a while before other places do, but sometimes they are wrong.

I think their source is this livedoor.

In my perfect little dream world, Koda only has one BEST and that was ~First Things.~ Second Session shouldn't have been called a BEST and and B&L shouldn't have even been released.
