^ Sounds enticing, really! But i wonder what album title will ayu give since RAINBOW was already used? I will have a good laugh at the titles before listening to them though =pp

If she doesn't end up releasing a single I think I'd be a little disappointed but only because I'm anxious to see what she'll give out to us in this "new" era. Someone mentioned before that it's interesting how a lot of us are clamoring for her to take a break/relax/rest up since she's always so busy and yet probably an equal amount of us are restless for new material. It's a self-defeating cycle, I suppose.

Announcements for singles are usually given a month or so in advance prior to their release, so if she was planning for a late October/November single she'd have to announce it almost literally within the next few days or a week at most. I have to say that the announcement that her 6/29 10th Anniversary show being televised in November gives me some kind of hope that she'll have a November single come out around the same time.

Hmm on the contrary i doubt it will mention anything about the new single D: But any thing is possible

The suspense can be quite frustrating, so ayu please announce something about your new single asap!

Oh I didn't mean that the broadcast of the show would be used to talk about her new single, only that while the attention is put on her in the media I can see it being a smart time to say, "Oh btw she has a single coming out, too." Strike while the iron is hot, you know?

They also had the CDL 06-07 DVD (and making of footage) to sink their teeth into -- I mean, I only came back into liking Ayu once glitter / fated was released, but I imagine having all that to listen to would've kept me (personally) occupied for a little bit. Plus she debuted glitter during AT 07... which would again make people excited.

I suppose, it's a similar yet different experience in this case.

I really don't think we have anything to worry about though~ We know she's got another single in her (or rather, in Avex's... storage? Wherever they keep recorded songs before they're let out XD), so it shouldn't be too far in the future we get it~ What was the gap between the Moments CM and the single?

Stop being so needy and how about try to listen to the radio until then. It's not that big of a deal.

And a lot of things on the radio suck. I'd rather "be needy" and talk about the possibility of a new single rather than listen to the crap that gets broadcast 283490849032 times a day.

Actually a majority of the time it's pretty nice. Stop being so stereotipical. That always seems to happen on this forum. Well anyway, I actually wouldn't mind a new single but at the same time I'm not going to pull my hair out if it doesn't arrive until 2009.

Sorry, how am I being stereotypical? What stereotype am I supposed to be embodying by saying that the radio sucks and plays the same songs over and over again? The former statement is definitely an opinion one but I don't think it can be denied that they repeat only a few songs several times a day...

It did feel like a long time, but not as long as this year. At least then, there was a new song and PV plus Ayu was on tv performing and promoting all over the place. She has performed on tv 5 times this year - she performed more than that just in the one month that A Best 2 came out.

I'm quite sure she'll be coming with something new towards November/December. Maybe a mini-album, I think it's what she would do.

To be honest, I'd rather she take some time off to flesh out what she wants to do musically in this new "era" and produce a fantastically fabulous album than stick with her routine. It's been ten years, and A COMPLETE ~ALL SINGLES~ has been released. In a way, it makes sense for her first single after ten years to be released during the eleventh year.

Yeah but my point was ayu's not the one doing it. She writes the lyrics for the production team to arrange the instrumentals with, learns the melody and records it. The whole process of creating the song including mixing and all that takes about a day, don't know why momentum would take 3 days, perhaps some inefficiency at work there. I don't know about physical distribution and manufacturing, but that's definitely none of ayu's business.

I'm definitely a laidback person but that's because i get my work done very fast so it frustrates me when people give reasons or excuses as to why work gets prolonged. Like a group member who throws a wrench in the plans without an alternative you know.

Ayu can take all the time she wants to flesh out a proper album. We don't have any say in her release schedule. But don't say stuff like "this is taking a long time because the tour is an elaborate one" or "recording actually takes much longer than you people think", and then a mediocre album like Guilty gets released. Just do your job properly, that's what fans want isn't it? Don't give the details, that's your responsibility. That's how it is in the working world.
