So true But congrats to Manoeri anyway.

I haven't listened to all of it, but so far Rival >>> Seishun Bus Guide (song-wise. The SBG PV is absolutely awesome xD)

lol yes. her first major single was so painful to listen to i was thinking of buying it but...no

The bside for Hajimete no Keiken is really interesting...I wouldn't expect her to sing a song like this

I like it but god damn her voice I can't wait for it to mature and sound better.

I won't lie - when she appeared at the Elder Club 2009 Winter concert as a special guest, I literally fell asleep and ended up missing half the concert . And it was like, in the middle of the day too, after I had come from school... I think that's gotta be saying something xDD

Still, Hajimete no Keiken is a step in the right direction. It's definitely loads better than her first single.

After School came out with a new single entitled "Dream Girls" (a remake of Morning Musume's "Love Machine") and it's going to be the theme song for Mnet's joint Korean-Japanese produced audition show "Great Tokyo Girls". Check it out:

After School is actually considered as the Korean Pussycat Dolls.

^ I prefer MM's version. While I like the rapping in After School's version they lack the spirit MM has

she is the cutest thing ever

i like how her voice sounds live more compared to the studio version.

^ I like the MM version better. After School did a great job by re-doing the song but still... It's too... how could I say it... lame.
And about Erina Mano, I think she is adorable and cute and everything, but when it comes to her music, I simply don't like it.

She was very cute! I don't think she was actually playing the piano though. At the end of the performance, she wasn't ready yet and the piano was already playing! XD

Manoeri is cute as a freakin' button. That performance = . XD I can't wait to see her perform Hajimete no Keiken at the H!P Summer show this year I'm actually in love with that song now.

Oh and I just wanted to post this interview, translated by Hello!Online. It's really in depth and the three girls (Ai/Eri/Junjun) talk a lot xD It's quite worth the read.

^ Me too It's taking me a really long time to accept Ai as leader (I still don't think she's as good as Yossi) but now I'm finally starting to warm up to her.

Has anyone seen these recent scans of Rika?
Spoiler:

charmy...

I've been wondering what she has been up to lately. I wouldn't mind if she focused on modeling for a bit

^

I miss them so much...I really wish they were given another album or at least a mini abum? SOMETHING! FANTASY on their best album is so good and their version of Nanni mo Iwazu ni I LOVE YOU was beautiful. I want more
well I still have to hear a few bsides from some singles...so at least I have some"new" songs by them to look forward too

Also are their concerts any good? The only one I've seen is their final farewell concert ngl the ending made me tear up a tiny tiny bit...<_<!

That's sadly the only one I've seen as well, though I've seen lots of clips from their other concerts (and their parts in H!P concerts are always the parts I look forward to most! )

Same with me, actually xD I still have like, 3 songs on the Suiteroom album that I haven't heard (I'm waiting till I can buy the album or see them in concert before d/ling them)

Honestly, H!P needs another group that can really stand on its own and doesn't
a) rely on an anime for promotion and having a discography made up of OPs/EDs
b) have songs that can be interchangeable with EVERY OTHER H!P GROUP.

Basically, groups like Minimoni, Goto Maki, GAM, v-u-den, Melon Kinenbi, etc.

Sure Maki and v-u-den have songs that are performed by other H!P members (Yaruki! It's easy, Kacchoiize JAPAN!, etc.), but they had a distinct sound and could stand on their own without being confused with other groups (Well, I guess they COULD be, but the idiot who thinks SOME BOYS! TOUCH is a Berryz song and Aisu Kuriimu to my Purin is a C-ute song will be getting an epic FAIL tattoo'd on their forehead personally by me).

There's the new group, S/mileage, but I'm almost already sure their songs are gonna sound like C-ute/Berryz/Shugo Chara Egg. I'm so optimistic

This is why I wish High-King hadn't been just a oneshot thing.

Very very true. and ugh GAM was another group that ended too early. Instead of making Miki release that enka single and giving Aya boring music they should of just released as GAM again.

I already forgot S/mileage existed There also recently was that new group Guardians 4 but I found them to be a complete disaster :/ I hope they are just a one shot unit. H!P desperately needs a new group with a more mature/sexy image...or just more variety in general. Unfortunately all of H!P's variety left when the elders graduated

For now with the current H!P lineup maybe Ice Cream Musume will surprise me and turn into the next v-u-den/Melon Kinenbi
