^ I doubt so. Because the Hong Kong press, the one with the poorer quality, was only released at June. So I think your friend saw something else. Either that, or it was a prank I guess.

Hmm anyhow, i bought the DVD today, yes the cover looks pinkish.... but not the DVD inside. the DVD cover in the case looks fine. yeah~

oh by the way, does gramophone sells PCDL? i didnt see it.. wanted to compare prices... and... another thing i want to ask, has anyone gave cds for gramophone to hceck if which CDs they are taking in and not, like sell for money, but gave the wrong phone number? i gave them my auntie's number cuz she'll be there later this week, but i gave it wrong....... and since i'm selling the CDs, i dont want them but i dont want them to sue me for dumping my CDs there.

anyone knows where to recycle old CDs? Can put inside the recycle bag that comes every two weeks?

Well, I don't think Gramophone allows people to sell the CDs?

I'd love to help with the price for PCDL in Gramophone but sadly, the Jurong Point outlet doesn't sell J-Pop concert DVDs. Which is weird. And it's kinda funny that the DVD case slipcase is of a normal color tone. LOL.

they do, at the cathay, the one behind PS, i just did and i reallllly didn't want my CDs back.... ihave 20 CDs to sell. i never thought about it before, until i realized i gave the wrong number. like OH NO! i'm going back to orchard about end of this week with myfriend, and carrying it is a hassle.

they not only sell used CDs right? still got new CDs.. then different outlets dff type of CDs. its funny how they say its maybe 50c to 5 dollars, but most don't go beyond a dollar, when they are in extremely good condition, feel abit cheated LOL

Jurong Point, newly opened? O_o

the slipcase cover looks normal, but when compared to the DVD casing, it's somehow... pinkish. hahaha~

Well, the slipcase isn't normal when I've seen the actual Taiwan/Japan version before.

And yes, the Jurong Point outlet opened last December. And sorry then, I can't help you with the selling thing because I never heard about it. But next time I can totally sell my CDs already.

First thing I'd sell is my HSM CD. I can't believe I bought it man. Sheesh.

its okay, i'll ask my other friend then, but i fell so guilty for not calling them to say i gave them the wrong number.......... well, i think i will lah. cuz i'm going to PS this weekend. haiz. i hate it when i have sooo many CDs i bought that i regret. so much so much.

thanks!

^ Well, I was young and stupid back then. (No offence Karen) And HSM is the only CD that I regret buying. Sigh.

Btw, I can't wait to receive the Daybreak single from you!

i realized something..... i was looking at my recepit, and realized that it was printed :

"-------------- qty 1 amt 80.00
After 50% discount: 40.00
Premium countdown 08-09
Total : 40.00

...
..."

the "----" are the article number. and the "... ..." is etc.

so the original price is 80? the store was having a 50% discount on many CDs. including Ayu's......?

She caught the GSS???

I AM SO FURIOUS!!!!!!

I got a fail copy

There's apparently a dent on the DVD case on the bottom right corner denting inwards caused by the holders that hold the booklet. Argh!

But meh, it's alright. I'm not going to exchange it or anything lol.

EDIT: @foxhana: Lol, from the looks of it I think the cashier just anyhow input any number.

$80 seems like a really unreasonable price for PCDL. In any case, you got it for a good price it think

but the DVD itself is okay right? uhhhhh the clips to clip the booklets arent so strong, could it be that you pressed ita gainst something when its in your bag? hahah as long as teh dvd is okay.

i'm not sure, the sticker stated net price 40. so iwas like okay 40. when i came home i realized it. hahahha~ oh well, i bought it. don't cares~

SolarAngel ~~~ 80 is an unreasonable price you're right. hahaha~

Sembawang is like that. Last time, when Vanny bought some CDs from Sembawang, it states 50% off store wide (or something like that), then they'd make the original price of a single $30. Then 50% off, you'd get it for $14.95. That's Sembawang for you~ So the actual price would be $40. $80 is nuts for a DVD, probably a Japan version in HMV would be sold at around this price.

yup

when I went to Sembawang (the Plaza Singapura outlet) , they did the same thing for Rule / Sparkle & NEXT LEVEL

the original prices were twice of what I saw but it was all slashed out by 1/2

if I didn't asked the staff , I probably will pay $40+ for NEXT LEVEL which I didn't

actually, i think its the cashier's machine. because they might have changed some things in the cash machine, and there are really 50% discount storewide as i saw some CDs really cheap. but they couldn't do it for a CD that just came in right? so they had to set the price to double, so when they slash it in half, it would be the actual price. ^^
