although it's really hard to come across those lives I've only found a few from their underground performances.

Hey guys...great news! I just created a discography thread! If you guys recall, I did have a thread with their new EPs in it, which ended up providing all their music in it, but this one is organized and neat with updated links ! Also I added a couple new things!

^ I agree. My only problem is that I wish they were releasing BRAND new material rather than remastered old stuff. I mean don't get me wrong, it's cool and all...it's just I've been following them for four years now and I've always been anticipating new music releases. They have made a few new songs with Avex...but mostly it's been old music redone.

Honestly, I'm blown away by this album. I only knew a few Aural Vampire songs before listening to it, and the remastered ones are so much better.

I don't think it charted though. =(..can anyone confirm this?

Also, I wouldn't be all that surprised if the album failed to chart

I didn't find it on today's top 30. I hope it'll at least show up on the weekly charts.

downloaded the album since i need more electropop in my life, lol. i'm actually quite impressed by it even though i'm not a big fan of their image.

it's very different from the other electro artists out there in j-pop currently!

I saw a poster saying that Aural Vampire was going to perform here, or do a concert. Something of that sort.

I like the album too. A few of the new songs are really good. Only problem is that there is way too much released material on it. Should have been 1/2 old 1/2 new. Its nice listening to all the old songs in HQ and with major label production but. Big improvement in quality over the iTunes EPs.

Here's the HQ cover

*listening to the album*

As I thought so, they filled the new album with all their demo/underground songs It's not that I'm complaining, some of those are great I'll give my full opinion when I finish listening to it ^^

Aural Vampire is going to be attending the Anime Friends 2010 Convention in Brazil and Argentina . Anyone going?

http://auralvampire.com/index.html

It's on their official site. Plus there's some pictures of her and some of her fans at another convention called Anime Central Convention.

edit; here's the article, but it's in Spanish. Can someone translate?

Quote:

Aw I read somewhere that Zoltank only sold like 500 copies....That is awful . I guess I am not surprised though because their music is not really mainstream-friendly anyway...and to top it off, I'm not sure that Avex gave them THAT much promotion. I hope they release something new sometime in the near future. I really enjoy their music ...especially around Halloween time!

Avex didn't do any promotion, which seems to be how they treat new artists on the label lately.
