their sales pattern is like tohoshinki...very big on the first day and drop down HUGELY on the next day...and will lose to the second spot in the end of the week...LOL...
i feel sorry for Ai single sales...

B.R.Z ACOUSTIC has dropped outta the top 10 today they're at #18 today as compared to yesterday's #7 X___X I guess BRZ fans in Japan doesn't like the idea of an acoustic mini album ?  ugh this's bad but it beats Ao no Mirai's chart position anytime

That's a surprise, to see a Johnny's Band relinquish the number one position, after so few days! Of course, enka singers have long charting lives. (and some are just immortal ...)
Not really an interesting release for me this week. I'm more interested in seeing how my favourites from last week will fare this time around. (aiko <3) |

the past 5 years or so , Johnny's have taken the #1 spot for top selling single of the year , except in 2007
2005 - Shuuji to Akira's Seishun Amigo ; this single is quite something . It was only released in Nov & after a month , it became the top selling single in 2005 it was also the 3rd most sold single in 2006 which's impressive considering that they were a temporary unit to begin with & KAT-TUN's Kamenashi Kazuya has the honour of having 2 top selling singles back to back except he was in different groups xD 2006 - KAT-TUN's Real Face 2008 - ARASHI's truth / Kaze no Mukou e 2009 - ARASHI's Believe / Kumori Nochi Kaisei I have a feeling ARASHI's able to get it this year again but instead of a double A-side , it's a single A-side (for now)

just watched the whole episode of MS special episode that give us info about who top the chart every months from 1990-2009
i just realize that the chart is so boring, especially from 2006-2009, its all about boysband...uggghhh... kattun - arashi - news - smap - kattun - arashi - smap - arashi - arashi - kattun...and the list go on...its so boring...and almost all the song sounded the same...even the vocal voice sound the same too...
