^ Hardly possible. The only double A-side single from them is Sayaendou/Hadashi no Cinderella boy and that's right before their hiatus. Now that NEWS is picking up the pace... I doubt they will do such a stunt. I don't think this campaign is gonna get a song/CM from NEWS. I mean, NEWS had other campaigns with thems but they don't necessarily have a new song for it.

^ See, RUSS-K campaigns doesn't necessarily have to come with CM's/theme songs.

RUSS-K has started working with NEWS since the release of weeeek, and in between, RUSS-K had lots of new campaigns, but majority didn't get a CM with a NEWS tie-in.

The only songs that got a campaign tie in with RUSS-K are weeeek, SUMMER TIME, and Koi no ABO. During the time span between the release of Happy Birthday and Koi no ABO, there were newer campaigns which involved NEWS but didn't get a theme song.

oh that was interesting, lol I thought you needed a song to have a tie-in with an ad campaign like most other artistes BUT they're THE Johnnys so I'm not too surprised xD

like what Jia Rong said , they have a lot of RUSS-K ads in the past but it doesn't mean that for every RUSS-K ad they do , a new song will surface & you have to understand that Ryo's in Kanjani8 so if they kept on releasing new songs for every ad NEWS appears in , Kanjani8 will have no way to release anything alongside with NEWS each year

They don't put out double A-sides as frequent as ARASHI . Even KAT-TUN , up to now they don't have a double A-side single . The closest for a double A-side for KAT-TUN , the most recent one will be Love yourself where THE D-MOTION is their 1st B-side to get a PV

I'm still baffled why J-One Records didn't release it as Love yourself / THE D-MOTION cos both CD + DVD's came with PVs for both songs . Ok never mind ....

& for BE FUNKY !'s case , it will be used to promote Shige's drama TROUBLEMAN which he's playing his 1st lead in a drama so I don't think it will be used to promote RUSS-K . I seldom see the same song of a Johnny being used for promo for 2 different things

I'm guess tmr's sale to be around 10-12k, so maybe 180k or so for the first week? lol that's pretty decent for most artistes but maybe it's not so good for a Johnny Associate's band. not too sure lol

NEWS all this while never has been strong in the singles sales department . I wouldn't even dare to say album in here cos in general , Johnny's albums can't sell as well as their singles

I think the 1st week sales of Sakura Girl will be their weakest in recent times & their 1st one not to crack the 200K mark in a week since Sayaendō/Hadashi no Cinderella Boy which sold 151,760 copies in the 1st week
