Well she says it's so she can spend more time with her family, but her contract ended this year and I don't think Avex renewed it...
Even Kazuhito ended his contract as alan's exclusive producer with Avex (but he'll still compose for other Avex artists)

Oh no! I loved her work with Kazuhito! What a shame. However, I do love her Chinese songs, because she has a stronger emotional voice, i think, so I'll look forward to that alan forever~

Yeah her contract ended this year, but there's really no sign of Avex renewing the contract. Maybe they did, but if alan will mainly be in China, then why waste the money on an artist in another country?

And alan has already moved out of her Japanese apartment and ended her modeling for Anecan which she used to model for every month.
