Kuu never fakes it when she sings her ballads. I love her Moon Crying performance from Taiwan Live so much because it's so simple yet epic at the same time. Also, I think her voice fits ballads perfectly and that's one of those reasons that makes her the best ballad singer in my opinion.

Alive is a great song. I always end up crying at the last minute when I listen to it. It expresses loneliness very well. Aishou on the other hand was a shock to me when I first read the lyrics. I always thought it was about something else and not so sexual as it actually was. But still I adore this song so much. I actually love everything about this ballad. It's just perfect. <3

I think my favorite ballads might be Yume no Uta and Aishou, closely followed by Suki de, suki de, suki de, you and Kiseki. <3

Haha man I saw this on Tumblr before I saw the PV, and thought it was part of the PV for a bit. I was like OMG KUMI IS DISSING PARTY QUEEN?? BUT SHE LIKES AYU?? #LOLfeelsstupidnow

Ahh I LOVE WWO! <3 It's such an awesome, addicting, fun song! The PV is cool too! At first I was like 'this is so weird' (but the CG weird that I like), but It's really fun and edgy. Kuu knows how to do a fun, summery cool song, she has nailed it! <3 I'll be listening to this for weeks now. Also tempted to do make-up tutorials for the 3 looks she is wearing.

I'm excited for Beach Mix release, I was pleasantly surprised with the DVD tracklist. All (well, most!) of her A-nation and Rhythm Nation performances is really cool!

Aishou is her best ballad hands down, that track is absolutely amazing! one of my favs <3
But overall i'm not overly crazy about Kuu's ballads. I like most of them but songs like "Stay With Me, Ai No Uta" & "Moon Crying"
sounds like your usual Jpop winter ballads and she doesn't really make them her own imo.

Overall i'm just more in for her upbeat songs, she has some of the best bangers in Jpop EVER!
But there's much stronger ballad singers than her (Suki De/Anata Dake Ga was amazing though)

I loved Aishou because it's really different ballad from her others like brave , stay and her endless beautiful "basic" ballads

I love almost all of her ballads, from the older rnb ones to the classic-ish ones to the different ones. I could name my 20 favorite ballads here and it wouldn't be enough But I still wish someday she'll release a rockish ballad like No way to say, those are so epic, and they would match Kuu's voice SO MUCH!
