My friend who's in V6's fanclub said she didn't received the Okada wedding announcement card yesterday & she probably will get it on Christmas (as it's not a public holiday in Japan unlike here)

Still a bit surprised Okada is the 3rd member to get married in V6 but real happy for him , he deserves so

Miyazaki Aoi & Okada Junichi tie the knot

It's been reported that actress Miyazaki Aoi (32) and V6's Okada Junichi (37) tied the knot on December 23. The couple released a joint statement on December 24 via their respective agencies.

"We would like to announce that we got married on December 23. We are both immature, but we will do our best to meet everyone's expectations, so we are for your continued support," they wrote.

Miyazaki and Okada co-starred in movies "Kagehinata ni Saku" (2008) and "Tenchi Meisatsu" (2012). According to reports, they started dating around spring of 2015, and the marriage registration was submitted by an intermediary.

Besides his activities in V6, Okada has been active as an actor starring in his first film 'Kisarazu Cat's Eye' in 2003. He won Best Actor at the '38th Japan Academy Prize' in 2014 for his role in 'Eien no 0.' Following Inohara Yoshihiko (41) and Nagano Hiroshi (45), he is the third V6 member to get married.

Miyazaki has been acting since she was 4-years-old. She has been nominated and has won numerous awards for her skilled acting. She was previously married to Takaoka Sosuke (2007-2011).

This afternoon , I did bank transfer to a local seller who sold the Taiwan press / CD + DVD of READY? to me

I'm stoked about it cos READY? is the very 1st V6 album I listened + bought on 5music Taiwan and I did considered buying a 2nd hand release of the CD + DVD version on Amazon Japan or Yahoo Japan Auctions but I'm shocked how high the prices are even though READY? was released 7 years ago

The amount the seller initially charged me was quite low & she increased the price subsequently cos her friend advised her to do so but that's ok cos I still will be paying 1/2 of the original cost of the Japan press

Psyched to rip the footages from the DVD in due time even though in general V6's PVs suck haha :x

Sakurai Sho's comment on the marriage of his "special senpai" and "Onii-chan", V6's Okada Junichi:

"To me, Okada-senpai is the big senpai that I’ve known since I was a child, and also my 1-year-older “Onii-chan” (big bro). We met the other day, and we kept talking about what we can do for our kouhai, what we can convey to them. Well, I think he's someone who doesn’t only think of himself, but also of the other people around him and his kouhai. Because Okada-senpai is that kind of person, I think he'll be able to build a family full of gentleness. Congratulations.”

The lucky woman is actress Miyazaki Aoi who worked with Sho in "Kamisama no Karute" movies.

Surprisingly this song came in 1st when CDTV did a voting poll of V6's top 10 songs 3 years ago during their 20th anniversary

That surprised me cos I thought it might be other older V6 songs like their debut single MUSIC FOR THE PEOPLE

On the other hand , Sakamoto thought WA ni Natte Odorou might be 1st

What's even more surprising is that their recent released singles like Sky's The Limit & Baribari BUDDY! made the top 10

Some of V6's older songs that I wasn't familiar with , I became more familiar & like them in due time as they either kept performing them so often or during Johnny's Countdown , the other Johnnys kept singing them

V6's Nagano Hiroshi and actress Shiraishi Miho are expecting their first child

It's been reported that V6 member Nagano Hiroshi (45) and actress Shiraishi Miho (39) are expecting their first child.

On January 13, the couple released a joint statement with the happy news. "At this time, we would like to announce that we have been blessed with a new life. We are overflowing with happiness and looking forward to the day we meet our child. We hope to carefully raise our new family member who we will welcome in early summer," they said.

The couple met around 2014 when Shiraishi guest starred in NHK's "Hare, Tokidoki Farm!" hosted by Nagano. They hit it off as they had a common interest in "food." They chose to submit their marriage registration on November 29, 2016 as it represents "Ii Niku no Hi" ("Good Meat Day"). They wanted to get married on a day that would be meaningful to them.
