Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan?

In the sense of Britney as a huge celebrity I really can't guess. I thought it would be Lindsay because of her movie success and because she seemed to get more respect from 20+ people (I used to see a lot of 'Lindsay the next Julia Roberts' talk on movie forums right after Mean Girls was released). I've been starting to doubt that though. Hilary's image seems to be in better shape right now, and that does matter. If Lindsay just parties with the Hiltons she might lose the advantage she had.

Hilary and Lindsay have a chance of becoming Britney-famous, they just need something (a blockbuster movie, a major hit album) that even those who aren't part of their usual audience can recognize them from. But it's probably an either-or situation. I doubt they'll both be massive stars five years from now.

My thoughts exactly...

I definitely prefer Hilary as she was, oddly enough, my favorite singer before Ayu. However, Lindsay is much more similar to Britney than she is and equally more likely to inspire controversy.

Don't even get me started on this because I could sit here for hours and tell you why Hilary Duff is better than that [beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep] Lindsay Lohan (although I like her too). Hilary is just so much more of a better person. She isn't like the other pop-stars before her and Lindsay is. Hilary doesn't show off her skin and isn't racy where as Lindsay is concerned, she is the queen of raciness! Hilary has a good head on her shoulders and is SO MUCH BETTER than LOHAN!

Hilary isn't fake. Just because she isn't a wh**e like Lindsay and is sweet doesn't mean she is fake - not hollywood girl is like that you know. Plus, Lindsay is far from real... take a look at her chest!

I'm not particularly fond of either Hilary Duff or Lindsay Lohan, but I can tolerate Hilary more than Lindsay. In my eyes, Lindsay Lohan seems so vain that she constantly thinks that the paparazzi is only after her. And I really don't like her song/video "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)", cuz she makes it seem like she's the only person in the enitire world who has a dysfunctional family/life. Not to mention all the partying...

i prefer hilary to lindsay anyday.but since the title is who's the next britney, well it would be lindsay. her songs are very britney like, and her dress sense are so britney too. as for hilary, she more natural. she might not be a great actor or singer, but at least she's not those bi**hy types. that's all i will say.

Anyway, Lindsay rocks. I don't like Hillary's music really, and her movies are all pretty horrible. I think Lindsay Lohan is awesome, Mean Girls was an amazing movie, and I like her songs a lot.

both are overrated. lindsay is a messed up **** who can't be saved by her clean roles. hilary is a thickheaded snob who's overrated. who cares who's gonna be the next britney. hollywood is filled with corrupted b*tches. the only sane ladies are probably....... avril lavigne, rachel mcadams, and reese witherspoon.
