 I just finished watching the music video for "Ring the Alarm." Wow. I can't believe how crazy she got with this video; she looks completely mental. As if her hair wasn't enough...

I don't like the songs to much but I'm buying the album.
I bet a ton of people hating on it are going to buy it like I am. EDIT: The official cover I saw in the paper is different from the one released. It looks alot better but I still don't like it that much. Last edited by HvnSntGurl; 24th August 2006 at 01:59 AM.

At least with Ring the alarm she's changed the subject for the lyrics, and made a different PV, with a different feeling to it. It's not just another sexual song with no deep meanings in it.
I didn't listen to the previews for the album, I'll just buy it. I couldn't get much of an impression just by listening to a few seconds of each track, anyway. Last edited by Ayashi; 24th August 2006 at 09:59 AM.

By the way people researched the meaning of Ring The Alarm and it really is about Rihanna. Since I guess Beyonce dropped hints in the song who it was about. Which kind of sucks. I mean I know no one wants there man to be taken but Jay-Z is um ok at best. No guy thinks a crazy g/f is cute. Her writing that song may actually ruin her relationship more then help. I mean if he takes that song seriously.

"Irreplaceable" and "Resentment" definitely outshine her two singles. The other songs, while cute for the most part, showed that the album was made in two weeks. It feels kind of incomplete, forgettable. Not enough songs on the album that I could see myself listening to 2 months later. I don't know about B-Day. But she delivers vocally, as usual. She just lacks artistic substance.

That thing about Rihanna is just stupid.
Regarding the album, I'm listening to it right now. I've only listened to 5 songs so far and all of them were great vocally, and that's more than enough for me, but surprisingly, I'm liking most of the melodies too. Right now I'm listening to a ballad (I don't know the title because they don't appear in my Mp3 player...) and it's great! I'm glad my expectations are being fulfilled.

I like 'Got Me Bodied" and "Kitty Kat."
"Resentment" is a great track but Beyonce could have done better with it then she did.

I like Deja Vu though. If the album has something like "Me, Myself, & I", I'd buy one copy.

B'Day is much better than Dangerously In Love!!!
Listen is AWSOME! Irreplaceable is GREAT and the other are really good. In DiL the only good songs are Crazy in Love, Naughty Girl and Baby Boy...The other is really bad...IMO... Great Album!
