love her! i think "run" is her best song EVER. shes really good, but her voice isnt really unique. alexandra burke is more whitneyish than her. and leona really shouldnt be compared 2 mariah<3

Yeah, I agree. I was expecting a lot more, especially since it was such an amazing song and it had Chace Crawford in it as well.

I like the song Happy, she's going back to these pop power-ballads and that's what her fans like ^o^ I have high hopes for Echo also <3

I didn't get that MV until the very end, it's so sad! T-T Leona is a good actress though~

and that other new song was boring.
but they played Happy in the Precious trailer, so i'll try to like it

Already listen to ECHO album a dozen of times up to now^^

I got it this morning and I can tell you that Broken, Stop crying your heart out and Alive are awesome and powerful ballads!!

I used to like Happy too, and I'm listening to I Got You and Brave for two weeks now.

This album is more pop/electro oriented, especially Outta my head.

Songs like Love Letter and Naked also have an alternative rock sound which make them very "soft" and "sweet" to listen to...

Generally speaking, Leona took risks by changing her genre. She's no more singing only upbeat ballads but also more rocky songs. And it pays off^^

I really like Echo... they are definitely better than Spirit as a whole

Though she should have done more songs on the album like Outta My Head!

^ I know ! Outta My Head really, really surprised me. Leona do a dance track?! And she did it so well ;] I love this album, so many different styles plus her epic ballads...<3 I'm obsessed ^-^ And the cover is beautiful! Much better than Spirit ...

I haven't listened to the entire album yet, but I've heard some songs that I love. Naked is great... but damn, why'd it have to be left off the U.S. edition? Now I'm gonna have to buy the U.K. import instead... I really, REALLY want that song (but then again, I also want to hear the song that replaced it on the U.S. version), and I don't do iTunes...

Naked is a style I normally love anyway (Kelly Clarkson, anthemic pop-rock), and I love hearing it on Leona. My Hands is also great, even if it sounds like 3/4 of what Ryan Tedder's been producing lately anyway (I love 3/4 of what he's been producing lately, though): Sounds like Happy, Already Gone, Battlefield, Halo, Bleeding Love... I'm sure I've missed one.

Also, My Hands is confirmed to be the theme song for the U.S. edition of Final Fantasy XIII. That should be very interesting... I hope it fits well with the game.

I LOVE Echo, I personally think its such a great follow up to her debut. It surpasses it. I really wish 'I See You' was on the album; I think it would have fit perfectly on the album. RIght now I am obsessed with My Hands which is pretty much the reason I decided to buy the album because I checked it out since it will be the new FFXIII English theme song and since I like Happy that also helped make the decision to get it. I really like the risks she took.
