Yes, Tsuki no Shizuku is probably my second favourite! It's so beautiful, calm at first and the way it builts up and the whole compositions with the violins. It's a great song.

I just listened to Tsuki no Shizuku on the Love & Ballad Selection. It calls itself Album Version, but Tsuki no Shizuku was also on Kous debut album Mitsu, and that version sounded different. The vocals are also different. I don't know why they changed it. The Original Version is so perfect. Maybe it's just because I'm used to the original version but it sounds weird to me.

Maybe kou just judged that her vocal wasn't good & wanted to improve the song.

Yes, I assume that she resung it. But I don't really get why, it's not like her vocal ability is any different than back then. She sounds the same to me, I even like the older version better.

Oh, yes I wanna see Ohoku so much. I really love that she is playing another strong female character, you don't get that to often in Japan. She's one of the few actresses that doesn't play into the cute/protect me category and I really enjoy her acting.

I can't really talk about her acting because I only watched one drama with her. It was GALILEO. She was really good on it. I like that drama.

It's Goddess Kou Shibasaki!!!! She's a singer and an actress, too. She was born 5th of August 1981 in Tokyo and has released 4 original albums so far. My favourite would be Love Paranoia. For songs, my favourite ballad of hers is Kage, but Tsuki no Shizuku, Sweet mom, Honto da yo and Taisetsu ni suru yo are also great. She has another project with Fukuyama Masaharu her acting partner in Galileo that is called KOH+. You can try out Saiai. It's a beautiful song. For faster songs you can try out Kiss shite or lover soul. For her discography check the first post, Glamorous_Sky recently posted an update. Kou Shibasakis real name is Yukie Yamamura.

Actress and singer Kou Shibasaki (29) will be doing a cover of Yumi Matsutoya's 1975 hit single "Rouge no Dengon." Shibasaki's version will be used as an insert song in the upcoming movie "Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan," which stars Aya Omasa (19).

In addition to Shibasaki's cover of "Rouge no Dengon," she will also provide the movie's theme song "Sayonarabu" (a combination of "sayonara" and "love"), which she wrote herself. Both songs are planned for digital release at the end of this year.

The movie, announced in May, is an adaptation of a light novel about a strange tale involving two childhood friends. Omasa's co-star is actor Shota Sometani (18).

Both Shibasaki and Omasa are signed with Stardust Promotion, which factored into the selection of Shibasaki for the movie's music. However, since her debut, Omasa has also been frequently compared to the more experienced actress. In fact, it was reported that the film's staff had wanted to cast someone similar to Shibasaki, and they ended up unanimously choosing Omasa.

"Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan" opens in theaters on January 22, 2011.

I admit I do see a certain resemblance between these two. Their facial structure is similar. But Kou is goddess and rules them all, so yeah for more music. She is also going to be in a new drama in the Winter season.
