I see nothing wrong with that title. It's no worse than "Movin' on without you." That's pretty cheesy if you ask me.

xD I don't really mind her titles, because her lyrics are usually pretty decent, and she sings with so much emotion that I forgive her titles. =] Although she has some unique ones too. Boku wa..kuma? xD

Most people are used Hikki being silly and amusing through her blogs and more "serious" through song writing so when some song with silly lyrics pops up, it's a no no.

I think the whole problem, for most people, with Easy Breezy was the whole "Japaneezy" line, especially being that Easy Breezy was chosen to be her first single.

Sure, she's allowed to be proud of her heritage, but the way it was used in the song (although cute and funny like mentioned above) made a lot of fans think "Wow, is she really serious about pursuing a career in the US?"

Basically, I think some people were just insulted that "Your easy breezy and I'm Japaneezy~" was her big US debut. XD

Well I didn't think the song was a real joke as she looked kinda serious in the PV, and yeah I agree that she couldn't have chosen the worst song for her debut (EXODUS 04 would do way better, with a good PV and some DECENT promotion)

Sometimes artists chose the wrong choice as their first single of the upcoming album. Hikki's Easy Breezy is really an obvious example. If she chose something else, I think the outcome would be much better. Probly she thinks this song is relax and not too serious. At the same time she's labeling herself that "she is a japanese-y but not caucasian". Also, she made another wrong direction... She should use sex appeal (even tho it's quite minimal compared to other artists). She got heavy make up (so sorta look like a typical asian american), then wore swimming suit, etc. Like you said, she should choose Exodus 04 instead. That is more like a typical hikki song.

This reminds me of Christina Aguilera choosing Dirrty as the first single of Stripped. If she chose Beautiful or Fighter instead, she would have a better outcome.

So.. I hope hikki is choosing the right choice this time. I mean, after many listens, it comes to a point that I quite like Easy Breezy (as it's actually not a really bad song). But it really turned my brain off in the first place and it really led me to hate her English album.
