"MASCARA" is the third album released by Takasugi Satomi. It came in three versions: a CD only, a CD+DVD, and a limited edition CD+32 page photobook. The CD+DVD edition came with a first press bonus of an autographed photo. Satomi has said that the concept for the album is "becoming the self you want to be".

They can only do so much if no one likes the songs and more importantly, doesn't know or care about her anymore.

Not terribly excited about 'mascara', looks like it'll be ballad heavy and her upbeat songs are nothing special

I really wanted to buy the photobook version, but since this stuff is expensive, I thought I'd wait until I hear to see if it's worth it... I know it's going to be the same type of stuff Samii's been doing lately, but I honestly loved Prism, even if it's not the sort of thing I'd listen to all the time/again and again (and it could have used some more new tracks, haha), so if it's as good as that I'll be very happy. Especially since it's going to be all new to me... I haven't been listening to her digital single releases.
