^ Wow! I know you guys were saying that collab albums don't sell well, but I didn't actually know how bad it was. Namie is doing really well. It looks like anything she comes out with is loved by all.
On a side note, I just read a translation of Yamapi's nikki entry from April 30. He makes a brief mention of the fact that he recently got to sing with Namie and to please check it out. Anyway, can you celebrate ? Checkmate! 93,168 + 48,489 + 31,280 + 26,503 + 21,369 + 21,060 = 241,869 No.1 for the weekly chart & No.9 for the yearly chart

Holy moly, that's almost hit 250,000 copies on the first week. o.o Amazing, congrats to Namie. <3
Oh course, it's no surprise she sold that much since she's pretty popular girl right now which is awesome. It's like her second peak or something.

I know second week is gonna be low, but hopefully she makes it to at least 320k in the next few weeks. Even though this is a collab album it defiinitely deserves it, not to mention it was so hard to find 320kbps rips of any song on there that was previously released, we always got stuck with the crappy quality
 now I have GREAT QUALITY!!! Love bumpin' make it happen when I drive so everyone can hear!!

Singer, Namie Amuro (33), reached another milestone with the release of a new compilation featuring her work with various artists. The new set, "Checkmate!" debuted atop the Oricon Album Chart with 253,000 units. The success of the album has pushed her total compact disc sales as a solo artist passed the 30 million mark making her only the fourth solo artist to ever achieve such sales.
