I wish they sell well, stages deserve more recognition!

Well, I bought 6 of those stage albums, the first press with photos and files were selling fats at cdjapan.

I end up with these bonus.

I can't believe how these albums sold so poorly taking in count that AKB is at their peak, they sold altogether just 150k (Old release sales+Re-relase 1st week+Re-release 2nd week).

I'm not surprised about this, because I don't consider these releases "core" releases (e.g. singles, new studio albums; these are not completely new)...

Poor Miichan

She didn't break a rule as a human but as a idol. She's been in AKB seven years so she knew the rule unfortunately she got caught.

She felt ashamed. She loves loves AKB (and the things it represents which is to some extent the outdated idea on purity)

She gets demoted. Because of her shame she shaves her head. What happens to the guy? Nothing.

That isn't right.

Itano made the right decision. She has potential to become a good solo singer, and lately she seemed so out of place in AKB48. When she graduates I will also "graduate" as an AKB48 fan

like now that every1 knows she is leaving and being naturally quite untalented I don't see going far D:

but I am sad since she is the most fashionable and interesting member in the group

learn from Maki Goto and MM, since as soon as she drops the 48 member name she is gonna see a sharp decline in interest

and for the Minegeshi thing, I think it is quite disgusting she felt the need to shave her head over this petty issue, makes me wonder if it was solely her decision and that means my liking of this group diminish quite a bit

I mentioned this before, but shaving heads in Japan is a sign of humiliating oneself for forgiveness.

It was done of her own accord.

As an idol, she knew the rules. And she broke them. The guy won't have anything bad happen to him, as he doesn't have those rules in his group. He wasn't doing anything wrong (except maybe coercing her to stay, but that's besides the point).

I'm shocked that she did shave her head though. It's not really something you see that often amongst celebrities...

My dorm manager shaved his head when stuff that people in the dorms were doing got out of hand, and he had to report them to the school.

She currently in the most popular idol group, and therefore she has a lot of eyes on her. She was also one of the members from the beginning, so she probably feels even more ashamed.

It's sad to see her so emotional though. Even though I don't listen to AKB, I don't wish pain upon any of them.




And in terms of Tomomi, now that she won't be in AKB, she'll have more time to release her own stuff. I think she made the right decision. If she waits for AKB to lose popularity, she'll lose her chances of people following her.

Of course she won't be as popular as she was in AKB48, she wont get as many CMs as she got with AKB48... She will have to walk her own path and make her own career alone. I think dhe didnt release any singles after the last spring's one because Akimoto was too bussy pushing other members and groups

I kinda feel that Shimazaki replaced Acchan in senbatsu but nobody can replace Tomomi!

Tomomchins not graduating right away. She said in 2013 so that could be in December for all we know.

Man, things have gone pretty sour over the past day or two... Minami Minegishi scandal, and now Tomochin saying good-bye to AKB48...
