Another thought:

If the mini album songs are featured, then this album may chart quite well.
I mean, not every fan would have brought these mini-albums.
And if Ayu does some serious promotion (which she's already started with her live appearances), then people are going to notice that these songs actually are decent.
The fact that she sung SURREAL on Hey!Hey!Hey! would have also caught people's attention considering it's one of her more popular songs...

So, in terms of chart success/popularity, this album could be Ayu's salvation.

I was thinking about that too...it could be like avex's last attempt to the public that "YOU JUST GOT TO LISTEN TO THOSE 7 SONGS"...
though im not sure what to be in favour of LOl...i could see her just going off for her new tour in April-May without the promotion again.

just brace ourselves for the worst..coz anything aside would just be SUPERB

Actually the first comments from the hosts after she performed were that they thought she would perform a song everyone knows, lol.

^ really, the reason why i think they did that was because of the tie-in.
if that wasnt there we might not have gotten it.

Lol, that's what I'm trying to tell you "things change"

I'm not saying they will be on there but you cannot safely make the assumption it won't happen solely based on the face that IT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE.

The titles LOVE and again fit together easily, it just seems like it is very likely this is what they had up their sleeves all along.

I wonder if there is something in Ayu's contract in terms of singles?
Perhaps she signed on 50 singles with Avex, and that was it?
Not including digital singles...

Perhaps naming what should be singles 'mini-albums' is her way of getting around it?
If these mini-album songs do appear on the album, I feel like this is probably the most logical explanation.

^^ I really wouldnt consider the two being together...
LOVE is about LOVE and getting together (for me anyways)
again is about the break up, again.

And I get what your saying. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I can only go by what she has done before and there is no other reason to change it.

OMGOMGOMG. I was NOT expecting a full length album!!! She is making such great music right now, so I'm pretty excited! I hope it will be an entirely different concept from LOVE and again.

a pleasant surprise! i really wish it is gonna be a brand new album and hope that there isnt any materials from LOVE and again. But 14 tracks in the DVD.. that rules out the DVD of AT12. but 7 new PVs and 7 making ofs perhaps? ayu has to work her a$$ off for this album!

n if its gonna be a love theme kinda album. i will pull my hair out.

Now if this is called "PREMIUM" or some form of PREMIUM (PREMIER/PRIME/SOMETHING), the CDL theory is solidified. It's pretty coincidental though.

(HOTEL Love songs, do it again, Future Classics, PREMIUM, Anniversary)

SURREAL is probably more known by her fans since she does it at every live performance ever like evolution.

Casual listeners probably know BLUE BIRD, Dearest, Voyage, and so on. I mean I doubt many regular people know JEWEL despite it being so good or even Endless sorrow.

I'd be surprised if people weren't aware of JEWEL - I remember when it was being released she performed it EVERYWHERE, or so it seemed. I avoided listening to it until I received my copy of the album and sat down to watch the MV. But I do recall her performing it a ton, so much so that fans here were complaining they had enough of it already.

Surreal also had tons of tv performances when it came out, but that doesn't mean that everyone knows and remembers it.

For the general public, Ayu=Boys and Girls, Seasons, Evolution, and M. Dearest and Voyage might fit in there as well.
