Who knows... but 3 years without singles (but albums/mini albums) is pretty unusual, tbh.

Why not just have LOVE/again be singles?

I thought that rumour was debunked when Ayu mentioned herself that it was her decision, and she just wanted to make music when she wanted instead of limiting her creativity on a strict release schedule. Sure, some people still blamed Avex...but I don't know what else could have disproved the rumour, since apparently the woman herself addressing it wasn't enough.

Looking forward to the single, I really didn't think she'd release another for a long time after her recent comments.

Well they could make extra money with these over pricing them, I just don't think they could use any excuses anymore or they just saw a lot of complaints. Go figure.

Maybe they still don't but ayu "enforced" it.

Or we could just ask: even though she didn't release a single for 3 years so why now she does release one?

Also it's going to be on the double week (which are scary since GUILTY) and now that ayu became less popular it's even more scary, is there even a competition? If yes then they might not care for more #1s, ayu already has the record anyway.
