Just caught the last half. I never usually catch lives live! Loved the hair piece, wanted that to return since AT05! Skirt was a bit of an odd shape/could have been more flattering but overall really nice performance. I'd actually have loved SURREAL in there like she did for AT05.

She sounded good, it looks great, but... It's so bizarre to see such a 'dead' performance of INSPIRE compared to the concert ones.

Eh....I thought she sounded flat as hell in the second half of the performance. Actually, I thought the performance overall was kind of 'dead'. That might have been because she was sitting for a good portion of it, but overall there was just a "going through the motions" feeling to it.

I liked it, the voice was amazing, the stage control incredible, but it was like her mind was or of this show...

also with momoclo haha. I was wondering the same. I guess it's for doing a "past songs connected to the present in the wonderful world of music" thing XD it goes along with the theme "uta ga koko ni aru"!
I love ayase's acting but these things can be very subjective... it's true she's making the kouhaku more lively. I like makichan but she's really...well...flat. Didn't like her last year.

edit: ojisan spotted without young idols around. Aren't there in akb/ske/nmb48 enough members to support all the artists? ....well yeah.

I feel like her being calm helped her control her voice more if that makes sense. When she's jumping around all excited there's more of a chance of her vocals taking a downturn.

Yes, that's the reason why she was so focused in the voice. Great performance BTW.
