Well, that's the thing with Johnny's, huh? But 8 years! Wow.
It sometimes feels like you need to have a certain status in the company to be allowed things like marriage. I don't know if that's true, but it seems like that. I don't know if he left, because the company looked unfavourably on his marriage plans, though. Perhaps he wanted to have a normal life? Is his girlfriend known? Is she from outside the showbusiness?

At times I don't understand how things work in the Johnnys agency . On 1 hand Johnny-san says he has no problems with his Johnnys to get married once they reach a certain ideal age (with them seeking his blessing) but on the other hand , the fans are not into it

Even if so , the rare Johnnys individuals who do get married all did rather late in their 40s/50s except for SMAP's KimuTaku & Akanishi as both their marriages were shotgun

The more senior Johnnys like Shounentai's Higashimaya Noriyuki & Kondo Masahiko have status in the agency but even so , Higashimaya-san got married when he was 43

From what I know if a certain Johnny wants to get married , their staff will sit down with them and discuss the cons/pros should they decide to take the next step

Frankly it's saddening that Johnnys are 'forced' to stay single in the public eye and some people are just too much in that they don't want them to get married :x

Oh well that's the trade off for being an Idol

As for Taguchi's long time girlfriend , she's supposedly actress Komine Rena and for Taguchi , I think for him to leave both the agency & the group , it's a big thing as that means he planned to leave the entertainment business

But I think somehow he might make a comeback in the music industry like what Tanaka did with INKT

I don't get it, too. On one hand it's probably good that they're supposed to be single even if they aren't. In case they have a girlfriend and break up soon. Some people also change partners more often than their underwear, so knowing nothing about that is probably beneficial for everyone. lol I also think they don't want them to get married and divorce shortly after?
On the other hand, though, if he really was with her for 8 years, it seems to be serious enough. So why not let them? Though we don't really know what happened.

And a late marriage may also have to do with the fact that one hasn't yet found the right person to marry.

I feel Kimura can do anything. lol

The problem is for Johnnys , anytime/everytime tabloids report/publish stuff someone is going out with so & so , they don't confirm/deny which makes things hard to tell on who's right and who's wrong

It's only when they themselves announce like holding a press conference then by then , it's official

If it's true that Taguchi decided to leave both the agency & the group due to his decision to get married , then it really takes guts for him to do that as putting things on the line in order to take that next step , it's not easy

I'm sure end of the day most Johnnys will want to settle down and have a family (except for SMAP's Nakai perhaps) . At least when V6's Inohara announced his plans to do so , he did it in a right proper manner and even the fans gave their blessings to him too

It's what you should do as a fan. I mean, they have so many fans that it's basically impossible that they marry you of all people. lol How would they even get to know you as a fan? They more than often date someone from the showbusiness.
I can understand that you may be shocked etc., but threats and the like are really not necessary.

Maybe that's why at times it's better to date/know someone in the same business as you because at least you're assured to a certain extent

I think a relationship with a fan is never a good thing because you will not know if the fan has any hidden underlying intentions and I've heard lots of crazy stories that fans can do :x

Ugh. Yeah, people can be scary.

Though it's not like an actress or the like may not have some bad intensions. You have to always be cautious. That doesn't only apply to stars, but also to us everyday people.

INKT are going to France

Tanaka Koki’s band INKT revealed in a blog post that they’ll be heading over to France have their very first concert held in Europe! The concert came in fruition thanks to a collaboration with the France based company “Asia Entertainment”, who helps organise an event called the “5th Local Exchange Event” which helps promote cultural exchange between France and Japan.

The concert will take place at the l’ESCALE venue in the city of Saint-cyr-sur-loire. Tickets aren’t on sale yet, but according to Asia Entertainment there will be an opportunity to meet the band on stage and participate in a fan-signing. The concert will take place on Tuesday October 4th.

Koki made his official debut back in 2006 as a member of the Johnny & Associates group KAT-TUN, in October 2013 his contract was terminated. INKT debuted the following year in 2014 with their self titled album.

INKT to hold one-man tour this fall

The band just held their first one-man tour in May. The upcoming tour will kick off on October 1 at X-pt. in Kochi and will wrap up on November 19 at TSUTAYA O-WEST in Tokyo for a total of 16 shows.

On the tour, KOKI (Vo) commented, "I want many people to listen to our music. Also, with gratitude for people who have supported us, we will deliver our best performance until we have no power left."
