By the way, Ruppina is not a band. It's her alias/stage name. People often mistaken it as a group band, thus they used the word "They" instead of "She". I've heard her music and mostly consists happy pop songs, kinda Free will-like, and others are ballads. Her ballads are totally amazing if you like her B-sides.

I read once she decided to start singing as Mai is because she want to make more dance-able music, considering Ruppina's music is not kinda dance-able.

This movie Mai's in, "Backdancers"... the name of the group her character is in is called Mayu With Super Tigers. Sounds kind of like Namie Amuro with the Super Monkeys...
