What do you think of Mirrorcle World?

I love it. Though I thought the modem "whirrrr" and beeps came in too abruptly after the strings (which I really like), on the whole the entire song gives off an amazingly strong feeling. It's a rock song, but it's just so different from the rock she's done before. "kiss o' kill" and "decision", as amazing as they are, are still recognizable as Ayu products. If I honestly did not recognize Ayu's voice and you told me it was Ayumi Hamasaki singing in "Mirrorcle World", I wouldn't believe you.

The ethereal slowdown in the middle was surprisingly well done, as well as the vocals during that part. It was gradual so it didn't feel out of place, and the way that the main melody kicks back is not that bad either. The "yeah yeah yeah woah woah" needs to go though---I think it would've been better if Ayu had just let the strength of the guitar function alone.

Overall, it's quite a nice rock song. I hope Ayu does this song justice when she performs it live. As for comparing it to "Mirror", I must say that I prefer "Mirror" more in the end.

Overall it's amazing. I love the beginning..it actually reminds me of a short story I wrote for English class once. But the chorus does need to be louder, but I hope it's just the Mp3 and not the actual song (because I remember my Yumekui rip had the same problem). The wow yeahs actually went surprisingly well in the middle, although I wish it ended more softly at the end. However, the bridge=the win.

Just Peco and Princess, please don't destroy this song.

Honestly. I think it ruined Mirror. What good is Mirror now. It takes away from the Guilty Album, and we've already heard half the song.

I liked the beginning, I'm actually excited about it, but I don't think it was a good move. It just. was unnecessary.

All I was saying was that I feel the lyrics in Mirror are a very honest expression of her feelings about the breakup. I never said everything Ayu releases has to do with Tomoya, so I think you should "move past" your own irritation about the matter--I don't know why you'd get contentious over a theory / personal preference.

The first time I heard the song I don't like it neither the video. The song and the video don't fit at all. Well, it's my own perception. Maybe she just had a video for the M.W like in evolution, and Decision where she was just singing with the band!
But i'll just accept it. After all, It's still Ayu!!

Maybe you could appreciate it more after reading the interpretation? Think of matrix and that world vs mirrorcle world (the title and lyrics) then watch the video again.

I actually love this song, but the PV was not the strongest..

I didn't like it much, I only heard it once when I watched the PV and haven't listened to it since. I didn't really like Mirror as much as the other short tracks on the album, so listening to Mirrorcle World is like listening to Mirror on repeat, it just is a bit too repetitive for me. And after having GUILTY on my playlist since its release, it's a bit boring now.
