So a group I'm a part of posted a video of a performance of Kis-my-Ft2 which had one of the members doing wotagei in it XD after looking it seems it was on HEY!HEY!HEY! I found a video on youku but it only had a few seconds of what I had saw.

Anyway I kept watching afterwords and really like the energy of the crowd and the song was okay too.

It seems it was Miyato Toshiya?

I liked the song so I'd like to know more about them.

The 2nd disc which's a bonus CD titled Kis-My-Zero is highly recommended as it contains a group of tracks they performed before onstage before the songs saw the light of giving studio treatments

Kis-My-Ft2 garners third consecutive #1 single

The 7-member Johnny's Entertainment unit Kis-My-Ft2, who debuted last year, has recently topped the Oricon weekly singles chart with their first single of the year, "SHE! HER! HER!" The single sold approximately 193,000 copies according to the chart dated April 2 by Oricon.

This is the group's third consecutive #1 single, following their debut, "Everybody Go" and "We never give up!" which both hit the top spot last year. Kis-My-Ft2 is the first male group to have three consecutive #1 debut singles in 3 years and 8 months, since Hey! Say! JUMP.

Kis-My-Ft2's new album is currently taking up half of Recochoku's Chaku-uta daily chart top ten according to March 27 ranking.

This follows the achievement Kis-My-Ft2 snagged recently with their single, "SHE! HER! HER" of having three consecutive #1s on Oricon's singles chart since debut. This feat hadn't been achieved for three years and eight months.

The group has also seen success outside of music releases with their recent CM, featuring the members transformed into females showing their "kiss faces," becoming a hot topic and discussion spreading on the commercial.

As stated, tracks from the group's latest album have taken up five of the top ten spots on the Recochoku Chaku-uta chart. This is the first time an act has achieved this in the 12-year history of the music distribution service.

This feat is such a brilliant achievement that it is being said that another act achieving it in the future is quite difficult to imagine.

The physical release has also been seeing brisk sales on its release day (T/N: 143,045 copies in its first day according to Oricon). From the group's formation until debut was approximately seven years, and from now they will certainly be garnering more and attention

Kis-My-Ft2 sell over 250k of their album in the first week!

Seven-member Johnny's group, Kis-My-Ft2 have sold 254,000 copies of their debut album in its first week according to the new Oricon weekly charts dated for April 9. "Kis-My-1st" hits #1 just one week after the group's third single, "SHE! HER! HER!" snagged the top spot, making it two weeks in a row for the group atop an Oricon chart.

The last time a male act was able to surpass 200,000 copies in their first week with their debut album was over six years ago when KAT-TUN released "Best of KAT-TUN."

Opening and ending song of ‘Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou’ to be provided by Kis-My-Ft2 and Maeda Atsuko



On April 6th, it was announced that Kis-My-Ft2 and Maeda Atsuko from AKB48 will provide the opening and ending song for the upcoming drama ‘Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou‘. The opening theme song will be Kis-My-Ft2’s new single “Shake It Up” and Maeda Atsuko’s solo 2nd single “Migikata” will be the ending theme song. The release date of both singles is as yet undecided.

‘Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou’ is a story of the trials and tribulations when a boy’s high school that has a lot of delinquents and a prestige girl’s high school, where all students are from high-class families, combine into one school. Kis-My-Ft2’s Miyata Toshiya and AKB48 research student Mitsumune Kaoru were cast in the drama as fixed charaters. Uchi Hiroki and Kitahara Rie from AKB48 team B will also make appearances in the drama.

“Shake It Up” is a fun, danceable song. Miyata showed his delight being cast in the drama and commented “The song is very upbeat and makes me feel like dancing. I would like all the cast and staff to remember the dance, and same as “Bakaleya”, I want to do “Bakasawagi”(liven up with dancing and singing).”

Maeda Atsuko’s “Migikata” will be her second solo single. The ballad song is about ‘heart-wrenching girl feelings’. Maeda states “‘Migikata‘ is my favorite song. I am glad it has been chosen as the ending theme for the drama, which my senior members are starring.”

“Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou” will be aired on NTV from April 14th at Saturday 12:50AM

7-member idol group, Kis-My-Ft2 held a live event on April 8 at Tokyo Dome in support of their new album, "Kis-My-1st" as part of their nation-wide tour. The boys returned to Tokyo Dome after performing there 18 days after their August debut, a record for fastest journey to the prestigious arena. This time, approximately 55,000 fans attended, shouting and cheering for Kisumai.

The concept was "Space Travel" and the boys entered the stage in their spacecraft, "Kis-My-Ship," which was raised 25 meters above the stage and they descended on wires. They showed off their rollerskating skills with 7 pairs of color LED-light equipped skates, called "Kis-My-Rollers" and performed on a steep slope called "Kis-My-Bank." Eldest member Kitayama Hiromitsu (26) said, "Don't try this at home!"

Kis-My Ship wows 55,000 fans in Tokyo Dome

Kis-My-Ft2 performed more than 30 songs for 55,000 fans in Tokyo Dome on April 8, reports Sankei Sports and Nikkan Sports.

It is the second time the group have performed at Tokyo Dome following a concert shortly after their CD debut in August 2011.

It has been reported the seven took advantage of the huge space by coming out from the Kis-My Ship, a giant ship float flying 25 metres above the ground where the members were attached to wires hanging on it.

“We were at the same eye-level as the fans on the third floor, I didn’t know how high we were,” Taisuke Fujigaya said.

Other stunts had included roller-skates which light up in seven different colours and dressing in drag.

”(The concert sets and props) are evolving. I want to make something that will stick in history,” Hiromitsu Kitayama said.

“The song list and sets were our ideas, it’s turned out to be very Kis-My,” Fujigaya said.
