That was the first Samurai Drive forum right? Then Helvy made a new one and everybody moved. But he shut down the site without telling anybody and hitomi.co.nr was born. I'm already a member of that forum I think.

Lumix , could you describe how the "Love Angel 2005" tour is like? how are the costumes and performances and how would you rate it against her other tours? stuff like that

+ she looks extremely gorgeous
+ I like the choice of songs

- I'd say it can be pretty boring for most of her fans
- she doesn't change her clothes AT ALL

So I'd say her other tours are better (esp. the fashion show, so awesome), but still I'd say this one is better than the huma-rhythm one, which is in my opinion even more boring. LOL, it's not really boring for me, but there isn't much variety and so..

edit: does anyone have an email address of shinde? I need to contact her concerning a hitomi forum..

The show is broken into smaller segments with a small fashion show in-between. the fashion shows are sexy & fun, they're not that long since there's only like a handful of models. celeb/topmodel/idol Rinka is one of the models in this show. and the others are probably some sort of top models in japan too, they are really gorgeous

the tracklisting is very interesting, there's like lots of b-sides and album tracks included.

first segment is called "lolita" , and the clothes are like cutesy. there are babydolls, nighties and stuff like that. hitomi in a huge red wig and pink girly dress performs poppy upbeat & very retroish selection of songs. "Fighting girl" and "someday" are fun to see live

next segment is "rock". the fashion has lots of leather & metallic fabrics / metal used. hitomi wears a white leather jacket and a silver miniskirt, and she performs a set of really rockish songs. I espicially like "Love Me Darling" and the performance of "Maria" is the best one for that song

third segment "bohemian" is very 60s / hippie - inspired. there's lots of flowing fabrics, animal prints and ethnic jewellery. hitomi wears a denim vest and a long red skirt, and the song selection is very mid-tempo & balladish. "WHY?" is the highlight of this segment for me.

the last segment , "sport" , is actually swimsuits. hitomi wears a green tanktop and small shorts. "candygirl" sounds very disco and they release a bunch of HUGE colorful balloons to bounce around in the stage/crowd. it looks cool. they end the show with "Japanese girl".

definitely hitomi's most entertaining tour and the tracklist is very unique.

I'd still say hitomi's 10th year anniversary tour is her best tour, music and performance-wise especially. but it's hard to compare, her anniversary tour is all her greatests singles performed and fashion tour has more less-performed tracks. They're both good in their own way

I'd also really appreciate a help with hitomi's trivia facts. I already finished writing her profile and so but I need more things that you guys think are interesting about hitomi, or things you think are worth of mentioning.

So far I have this:

- hitomi covered Bananarama's Venus (used for her Gilette Venus commercial filmed in Hawaii)

- as a 10th anniversary gift, Avex gave her her own record label, LOVE LIFE Records, which functions as a subdivision of Avex

- in 2007 hitomi co-starred in the Japanese horror movie Nightmare Detective

- hitomi was largely out of the public eye from mid-2002 to early 2004, because it was discovered she had an ovarian cancer

There is a new hitomi website being born! Some of it is already finished but other things have to be done yet! And I need your help guys..

So... here's a list!

You can..
- write a review of any hitomi item you have - concert, album, single, photobook
- write a list of things that are interesting about hitomi (for example she likes to cover Madonna songs on her concert, she's learning Chinese..)
- write down a list of all her songs + who made the music, wrote the lyrics and those things (that's a tough one, lol!)
- send me icons or wallpapers or whatever hitomi graphics you've made so far - there will be a huge graphics section on the website and everyone is, of course, gonna be credited for their work
- force someone who knows Japanese to translate her recent diary entries
- do anything else you think might be useful!

There'll be more things to do later when the website is up. So who doesn't do anything now will have to help later! =D
