I wasn't targeting you, I was just using your quote as an example. I know that quite a few people were saying something. Sorry if that upset you!

It's just pointless. They are sales, nothing else. Sales don't contribute anything to the worth of an artist over another. I hate seeing two of my favorite japanese artists being compared because it starts nothing but bashing on both sides (here, anyway. AHS has an issue with getting along)

and waterballoon, i completely agree. but the news was reporting that Arashi is tied with Ayu in having the most singles in the yearly top 10. In 2001, Ayu had the same amount. So it's kind of interesting how the tables have turned... haha

We have to say goodbye to 100k, because the release of Love songs, in my opinion, will only kill the sales faster than they will be reduced, but let's hope good sales for Love songs xD

At first I felt the same, but now I think crossroad is a million times better than suki de.

Suki de is a great song, don't get me wrong! But it's typical Kuu ballad, it just happens to be a decent song this time around. crossroad to me is miles better because it isn't typical and it gives me a warmer feeling when I listen to it.

But I love both songs!

I dont think so,
the reason none of these singles crossed 100k was
M/b: No promotion what so ever for this really solid single ---> okay sales (97k)
crossroad: Promotion for a single with only 1 song and a cover - - -> good sales
L: No promotion for the strongest single with 3 original songs - - > okay sales

If in the future we have an ayu single that has
2 new songs (so a Double A sided) with A LOT OF PROMOTION, and maybe not released one week after another single
then im pretty sure it could cross the 100k line
