I know, I like Ayu's vocals, for the most part. But IMO this performance was not good, whatever the reason is. It's not meant as critisism or anything, just my personal opinion, so please don't take my head of. =p Not stating it as an objective truth

^besides the screaming at the end, she sounded better than she did in the original song imo..and that rarely happens. it was just vocally mostly a really good performance from her. this was far from being an off day.

I thought it was a good performance, too. I mean it definitely could have been worse.

I love her hair and her outfit! Honestly, I had barely listened to Life before this, but now I will listen to it more.

I don't think she looked particularly more emotional than she's been at other times when she's sounded a lot better.

That being said, for me at least, she sounded ok in the beginning, but the second the rock-beats came it was downhill. Not as bad as the infamous S/S-performances of '09, but not that far from it.
Thank you for saying what I intended to say ^^ I sooooo totally agree with you <3 and I love your avatar so I love you even more for that ^^ hhaha

The beginning sounded great! I kinda wish the whole performance had been just the piano...

Anyways, vocals-wise, she sounded OK to me. But I do agree that it started to be worse at the end. Overall, it was a very good performance.

I'm not liking the new hair, but I'm hoping I'll get used to it..?

Yes. I watched some performances where I was just....well....
Sometimes she overdoes that vibrato and thats sound horrible.

simply great performance..the lyrics fitted this hard moment pretty much but it's not my favourite song. I understand well the choice anyway and i rate the live 8+

lol didnt read all the posts but i didnt see u guys say she went barefoot for the performance. reminds me of another performance of hers she did at MS i think? but cant remember the song, just remember she was wearing a black dress.

also the performance was awesome, especially the beginning vocal part.

It's a great performance. The part by the end really got me going, yet I yearn for more and more as she sang the final chorus. I especially love the tomboy look, it reminds me of the old days. I may be in the minority, but I think this song is servery underrated. Overall, it's been a while ayu, but you're still amazing as usual.

I like the beginning better than the rest, but overall, not bad. I'm glad we got to see this song live at last.

She's never performed this song so it's kind of a big thing. Especially with everything going on in Japan.

I am actually confused that no acoustic version of this song is made. Maybe b/c it's such a "noob" song.
