Thanks for the review! OMG, I can't believe it! Jedward were the Irish entrants in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 and this year they are doing it again!

I remember them from Eurovision that's why I knew of them, but I was like "lol Why are they here?" I wanted a picture with them, just to have... I'm sure they bolted right after the concert.

I wonder if anybody else famous was there, hmm.

um.. I think with the obviously muted response from The next LOVE and eyes, smoke, magic, that Ayu may very well change the setlist as she's done before! Well, at least I hope so.

I look at it this way - it's a new concept. This tour isn't based off last year's original idea - that's what this past CDL was for. PQ is an album filled with love songs, and this concert is about the hotel entitled love songs. Inside the hotel is filled with stories about love, and that's where the songs come in. That's how I took a look at it, anyway.

but the next LOVE and ESM ARE songs made to be performed and Ayu wrote them specially from a point of view. its definitely songs she wants to sing and get the point across. So..i think she'll keep them. they are too special (whether for the gd or bad) to be left out

Very disappointed with the setlist. I've been wanting to see Love Songs since the album came out. She should have changed the title to Hotel Party Queen. And if it really is a rehash of the last CDL, then that sucks cause that was my least favorite Ayu show. Oh, well, I've got tickets to the Yokohama show - hopefully this time it will be better.

and now, all she is lacking is Like a doll, crossroad, blossom...so...

edit: im imagining if she acutally inserted do it again after Return Road...i think it would mean quite a lot...that she wants to redo stuff and well, Return..and both songs have epic atmospheres so that section would totally be amazing

She only performed a few songs from Love Songs at the CDL. Plus I was hoping to see what the original concept for the tour was, along with the tour goods as well. But everything got Party Queenified. That's not bad actually, but since the title is Hotel LOVE SONGS its really kinda like false advertising.

If we got "like a doll" tonight and the other parts remain the same as CDL.

I'm about 3/4 the way through CDL and I have to say that it is not a rehash. Rehashed on the surface maybe. Costumes and sets are reused, but there's a deeper darker image and there is an actually story line. Its a totally different feel. Ayu did some of the darkest most honest things on stage tonight that imo make this tour worth it. And there is a reason it is still Hotel love Songs. The original hotel love songs came from the fact that Ayu was mainly traveling with Mannie and staying in hotel rooms. But now after the divorce, she is singing the songs of Party QUeen as they are most present, but relating it to the hotels. The original concept would not be honest to Ayu because that concept was predivorce. Think back to the I am... covers and how those got changed. I'm tired and bambling so i know this might not make sense. But seeing the actual tour may open your eyes. But I tend to look at the glass half full.

Also during the Party Queen performance, the title on the overhead LEDs switches from Hotel Love Songs to Party Queen, and then after LOVE appears on stage. Considering the dark moment of the Party QUeen song mentioned earlier, there really is a deeper connection between the new look onto Hotel Love SOngs and Party Queen. Like Ayu has Love in her fans, her family, etc. There is alot of thought and interpretation to this tour. I think this is her most concept based, over-arching story line, and deepest tour since Dome Tour.

This... The CDL was already darker than what expected by the concert name and the album its come from (Being Love Songs an album about finding love and getting married, I though it was kinda odd that no love story on the CDL had a happy ending), and since Party Queen is kinda the aswer album to Love Song, telling the story of a girl who can't find love cuz she doesn't believe in it, I think the Hotel Love Songs gives everything a whole new layer of sarcasm...
