To keep the 2NE1 fire going, YG has announced that a first mini-album from the group will be coming out in July, featuring six new songs and a more feminine concept. Taking into account all the hullaballoo surrounding the group's first two songs, "Lollipop" and "Fire", the group's first mini-album is sure to bring around more hype and excitement.

They get better and better with every performance if you ask me. I love what Sandara is wearing. I can't wait for the mini album I hope even though it'll be a more feminine concept the songs are as hot as Fire.

2ne1 is hot, literally. Their song FIRE lives up to its name and was the perfect introduction to a new, innovative urban dance pop group. Their song is absolutely grooving and catchy — their stage presence is lively. 2ne1 has taken After School off its crown and has taken all three Cyworld Awards!

They raked in 200K in single sales! That’s more than a lot of top 10 US artists!! What the heck right? Most Kpop top 10 artists rarely have sold over 200k in a year. This group is really hot right now.

Even though lots of other girl groups tend to change up concepts and styles with each album, 2ne1 plans to stay true to one genre, claiming that they "will always be hip-hop" and "neutral"... whatever 'neutral' means. "We are very easy going," they elaborated, "and we don't act cute or pretend to be either. Our mini-album will be released in June and will have cute and sexy music added in there."

While 1TYM's Teddy produced 2NE1's successful hit "Fire", G-Dragon was a strong hand in the groups fashion concepts. G-dragon even lent some of his own accessories to Dara! Damn... they could not have asked a more unqualified person for fashion advice....

And how do they feel about their sunbae's Big Bang, the group they were modeled after? "We still have a long way to go.... We never thought of ourselves as a group that will surpass Big Bang, but we want to be like them and always keep developing."
