Well, I'm happy to say that I love BoA too! I love her dance moves and her music is very good. I think she has few excellent songs like Atlantis Princess, Rock with You and so on. All her songs are rather mainstream though, so I do hope she does some variation.

However, I think that BoA presents a young and lively image. She's just BoA, and she sells the image of her as BoA, which I think is very good. Her recent korean release, My Name, was just showing how much BoA was growing up in sense of her music but I do hope she starts doing more singing and doesn't go hip hop like Namie ...

x_x ayu didn't start her career on the bottom.....her first single was the theme song of one of the popular music shows. NOTHING FROM NOTHING isn't considered part of her main career either, she'd given up singing until max found her.

I love BoA...Her voice is amazing I think it's better than Ayu's voice...And she can dance really good too.....Besides she is Freakin HOT oh yeah and the My name song and album ROCKS!! hahaha!

..Ah.. Let's see.. BoA has the Korean accent that's really heavy when you hear her sing in Japanese.. it makes me think she's still singing in Korean Is she even a big hit in China yet?

Brittany, that's not very nice.

BoA's trying very hard. Even 3 years after her debut, she is a big star in Japan, and I don't think she has an accent when singing Japanese, but she does sometimes when she talks. Who cares though? She's a great singer and has many fans who love her.

To answer your question, BoA's been in China a few time already. Recently, with the Channel [V] Summer Shake concert. It takes time....she just stepped into China. It's gonna be a while before she becomes a big star.

I'm a big BoA buff, but mostly her Korean stuff. There's just so much more of it, and it's more diverse than her Japanese releases. Her older, more R&B stuff is great, as is her more recent dance stuff. The albums inbetween were pretty good, too. Atlantis Princess was really great at points, but it felt like it was rushed and incomplete. She's an excellent performer, though, her shows are very entertaining. And her dance skills rock my boat.
