Oh shoot...
Well we have to keep expectations low... Mika Nakashima and BoA sells like 10k Koda Kumi 20k Namie 30k It's a hard time for soloists |

don't forget about these
aiko: 60k (we can compare her with ayu since her last single was released in 2011 and now she was able to sell over 60k with her new single 2 years later...) Kana Nishino: 30-40k Nana Mizuki: 80k (her collaboration singles with T.M. REVOLUTION sold over 100k) |

Nana has so many fans because of her seiyuu status, haha. And Valvrave.

I don't really understand aiko's popularity... but I guess she has all of those Oricon Style readers behind her, haha.

Venue limited single it looks like... wouldn't those only count for 30% of what they normally would on Oricon?

No, it will, but they probably sold more than that.
I'd hope Ayu sells more during the week... it's not like it will go directly to 1,000 a day, right?

My expectations are:
2nd: 7k 3rd: 4k 4th: 3k 5th: 3k 6th: 2k 7th: 2k First Week: 38~40k but i don't think ayu will be able to beat Momoiro since their single is 24k ahead :~ they might sell around 15k during the week. |

The Momoiro Clover Z single has already dropped a lot because it seems it was a one day special I do think Ayu can clear 30k the first week, so she should have no problems getting that #3.

Momoiro is actually #7 on daily charts (it didnt drop a lot '-').. I think it will rise during the week...

I know HSJ is #1...who's #2? |

Flower is a girlgroup whose popularity has increased a lot since their last single. Besides their single is a good winter ballad, no way Feel the love could compete with that.

Well kana's last single "sayounara" (which was probably a digital hit) sold 22,820 first week.
I thought momoiro clover's was sold only yesterday but if it's still on the charts it will probably sell all the copies, it should only drop then, question is how limited is it. It could have been #7 today just because all the rest sold aweful but we will see how it will keep faring. Hopefully ayu can be #3 but if kana was #4 and sold 39,000 it should be alright. ^I just think ayu released what she wanted regardless of the season and she probably doesn't care much how it will affect sales and stuff. EDIT Just found it momoiro clover's single is TIME limited Dec 23rd to Jan 10th. So ayu's gonna compete them for the #3 pretty much. She will be able if she won't drop much (which is less likely) so I'm expecting for #4-#5 weekly. Another competitor for #4 are yuzu actually. They were #4 today and if they will hold better than ayu than ayu's might be #5. My worst expectation would be #6 weekly for ayu but hopefully she will be able to be in the top 5.
