if you preorder the single after the 1st press's sold out on CDJapan , the chances of you getting a 1st press copy is very slim

CDJapan's quite systematic in the sense that if the 1st press edition of something's still available at their end , they will state it in the beginning

they're not like HMV Japan or YesAsia where you have to email them to ask about 1st press editions of stuff

there have been some exceptations with regards to YesAsia's though

iI dont think you can get first press anymore unless lots of cancelation from pre-order. what you can do i think just cancel your order and look to other place like hmv, yesasia or play-asia.

There are other plenty of sites that I'm sure still sell first press. some sites even have first press in stock and don't say they have them. You could try looking around and seeing. Maybe even on ebay you can buy first press. They always have legitimate things there.

I think the chance is bigger at YA, but yes, it is possible. You shall not count on it though

last time they wouldn't process orders on the weekend but seems that recently they open everyday just like for HMV Japan's case

I know because the DAIGO 2010 calendar I ordered a while back ago , I ordered it during the weekend & it was processed on Sun if I remembered it well

I remembered they shipped out my DAIGO calendar 2 Tue's ago something like that

I got it on Sat when I return back from vacation & it's so big/huge X____X

Okay, I'm trying to order Ballad / You were... DC + DVD from CDjapan.
I've ordered from them before and for some reason it won't authorize my credit card even though everything is alright with it.

I've already contacted them, but my main worry is... will the first press be sold out even if I move the CD to "Saved Items"?

Wow, that's annoying, about your credit card. >_< I don't know what to tell you about that, though, since I don't know anything about your credit situation and because it's never happened to me, but... I'm pretty sure they won't save first presses for something that is only saved. :\ But you'll know for sure if they are out, because CDJ always definitely lists whether or not they still have first presses or bonuses left in stock.

Are you able to make international purchases with your credit card?

for your previous orders, are you using the same card?

if yes, these are the 2 main possible answers:

1: you forgot to pay your last month credit card bill, so they suspend it till you make the payment
2: you exceed the limit on your card

Yes, I've ordered from CDjapan with the same credit card before.


Lacus:
1. Credit card works, used it only a few days before it.
2. Uh, same answer.


So, that's why I don't see any logical (or at least known answer) for this problem? Until CDjapan answers my e-mail, that is.
Was just wondering if anyone had any similar problems as well, before.

EDIT:
a friend saved me by ordering it for me, but I don't want to encounter this problem with future purchases :/

Really? My singles arrived today too (I ordered from CDJapan too). They're the First Press and the Japanese Version, but I only got one poster.

It's okay, because what would I do with three posters (). I just think that's strange...!

Found this thread through the search function since I need help with a question about play-asia and hope this is the right place and thread to ask it.

I registered to play-asia a looong while ago when I did not even know about YesAsia and CDJapan but never used my account there.
Now I am still getting eMails with product reviews of them and they still have some of my contact data.

Could someone please tell me how to delete my account there?

I couldn't find a button, form or anything to do so and even though I wrote several eMails to the customer service in English and German, they won't reply..

Really?? Strange...I always get one poster for each CD. That's why I have three Days / GREEN posters as well. lol

I might sell two on eBay...I'm hurting after spending $65 on these singles + DVD tours haha
