TA msg 236
My own rough translation...(not 100% accurate)
-------------------------------------------------------------- To everyone I met nationwide, thank you SO MUCH! Really, 'Thank You' are the only words. Thank you so much also to everyone that cooperated with the surprise project for ZIN on the last day. Because I heard everyone was trying hard in the rain before the show, and at the moment when I heard everyone's voices became one, I got chills, and even I, who was supposed to be the person that planned this, was crying along also. I heard this during the meeting, but Kayanocchi also cried backstage. While covering her face. lol But I was also making fun of her on that. BTW, at the meeting, ZIN also remembered this and cried again. Sooo, let's make fantastic summer memory togetherーーーーーっ♪ This is TA. 'TA' means 'Team Ayu.' Do I even not have the right to say please stop publishing to the public the feelings that were conveyed here? Quote:

This doesn't sound very... good. Do you think she knows people translate her TA messages and post them elsewhere?

The meaning might be lost in translation, but it does sound odd...

But general meaning is still "Do I even have the right to say not to make public the feelings I write about here?" which, as mentioned earlier, is clearly referring to the news leaks of her entry about Aneki and CDL. (and I was under the impression that some Jpn news were misinterpreting it and saying that the staff is lying that she has a sister. At least, that's what the Chinese media is accusing them of...) |

o_O...ayu forgive us...I wanna join but I can't coz I'm not from Japan. I would definitely join if you make it a international fanclub.

sad to say this but it's a fact that once things get onto the world wide web, the news will be spread across the entire globe within minutes..
so the only way for those entries to not be seen by non-members, is to not post it at all.. right? |

^ I agree. The fact that it's on the internet, and that Ayu has fans internationally who care about her and have a serious interest, makes it a sure thing that whatever she posts will be shared for those in other countries and who speak other languages. Maybe something was lost in translation, since it does seem a little weird and "off" compared to the rest of the entry - and that she doesn't even elaborate on it on the following message :O

Ayu is talking about the fact that Japanese news sources are getting ahold of the Japanese diary entries, and releasing the information to the public.
She is not talking about the international fans, but she's talking about the newspapers and stuff that publish her words. For example, a few days after she revealed her deafness, it popped up everywhere in Japan. And just recently, the story about "Aneki's" death spread as AT08 ended.

i was also quite shocked that aneki's death was the hot topic after AT 08 ended. by the way, the sales of tickets to AT 08 in taiwan jus started 2 hours ago tickets got sold out in like 35 minutes (for the 4500NT tickets). i didnt get any tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Although japanese culture is a litte bit xenophobic, well it's no wonder, Japan is an island and it was more closed from cultural influences for a long time in the past... So I think she feels more connected to her japanese fans but that's only natural. But still, I guess she meant the news.

I was kind of upset when I read her (Ayu's) message last night, well really upset, because I didn't understand why we international fans have to be "left out" of her fan club. I understand how she feels close to the Japanese people, her people, but does that mean she doesn't care for her other fans? Maybe not so much her fans in Asia, but Europe and America's?
Maybe I am jumping to conclusions, it's just frustrating. And personally, for her respect I'm not going to read her TA messages anymore.

She probably has NO IDEA [99.9% sure] that people from China/Taiwan and the USA and around the world are seeing the TeamAyu messages. What's troubling her is that her "private" messages are being quoted in the media in Japan. She wants the freedom to be able to post a meaningful post and not have it spread around the Japanese newspapers. However, with the fact that it's an online blog, news reporters that are her fans will probably leak the information to the media. Either that, or the news companies themselves have a subscription to TeamAyu. D: It's sad, really.
