Ah, thank you for revealing the truth behind it all.

I was wondering.

But seriously, it's so much easier to just tell Ayu "okay, go here and pose like this... yeah... okay... that's sufficient". Then they take a couple of photos, and revamp them some in photoshop. That's way easier than having her pose forever and get the absolutely perfect shot.

The point is that no one will notice, unless you'd have the original picture beside it, to compare with. And it looks good, if unnatural.

Well, she does pose forever though.. :| At least, TIME told us that for ayumixIV.. LOL

I don't get why it looks so strange.. maybe it's because her bust looks so low..

Why do we already have big HQ pictures of them?

YAY! nonetheless.

The sparkles DO look nicer the bigger the picture. Or maybe I'm just used to them now.

It's because the online stores require, because it's standard, bigger versions of the cover pictures.

I don't think so..

It seems pretty recent that such large covers would leak so early :O Usually they don't give stores photos larger than 150-200pixels.. :|

Well, they didn't really leak, as they was officially released to the stores.

I believe that's happened most of the times? I've been around for pretty few releases, though. First we get the smaller versions and a few hours or a day later the CD stores put up their larger versions.

I don't remember ever seeing large MY STORY or Memorial address photos before release when I was around..

I still think it's quite recent that album covers come out in such a large size..

I just checked Amazon.co.jp and the MY STORY one is like 250x250 while the (m)u and Secret ones are much larger..

I like it when CD+DVD / CD are two really different photos from the same shoot

[not like how HEAVEN / Startin' / B&D / BLUE BIRD were just sort of different.. poses .. in the same position]

The true purpose of those annoying sparkles are to distract us from the horrible photoshop skills on the CD-only cover. <.<

How do we 'know' that that was even photoshopped? We could all just be thinking too much into it.

I mean, when was the last time that an Ayu CD cover appeared to be photoshopped like crazy? :|

RAINBOW.

You could count A BALLADS too, though.

I think the only evidence of Photoshopping at all would be the sparkles, for the most part.

Ayu's body does look downright strange on the CD-only cover, though, but... maybe she's just.... posed funky.

(As for the other picture - I have seen people with bodies somewhat like that, although... they don't POSE like that, I imagine, without being uncomfortable. But there are people with nice bodies)

Yes, and all that you look at = truth

And about RAINBOW's cover.. that was sort of meant to be photoshopped, after all she was like, naked and it was 'RAINBOW' themed so.. yeah..

And A BALLADS had the whole dual-Ayu thing going on so that's understandable.. but in this context, I meant photoshopped as in her body was altered in some way to make it look different from what it actually is..
