not here sadly I think there are ayu fans are out there but are hard to find. I came across one but he only knew of I am... and thats all he knew of her, but it can be hard to like asian music here, Australia can be very proud of Australian things which doesn't include ayu/asian things. I know my next door neighbor hates me because i listen to asian music and thats the only reason and have come across of a little bit of hassle defending my ayu liking but thats more country ways than city. Though how she looks never gets any complaints from anyone and i mean no complaints, nothing but how hot/gorgeous/beautiful/perfect/stunning she is, from every picture i show around, but mainly the hassle comes down to her not singing English but iv learned to ignore it, I love her music so I dont care what people may say about liking her

I'm studing a career called "Asian Studies" and in my class 90% of people I know about love this kind of music, the 10% prefers pop... the 70% Knows Ayu, and 40% love some of her songs (overall they always say step you or dearest XD) I only know 2 more people that are only into j-pop, but I'm the only ayu-fan there ^^ XDD

There are only few who really know her in Germany.

And they are either interested in Japan/Animes/Videogames/etc. or have contact to people that have those interests

Ack! 3 of us now! Yay for AZ Ayu fans!

Anyway, I'm rather lucky that a lot of people know her where I work. Then again, I work for an internet company with a lot of, well, nerds for lack of a better term. I'm in a small department and at least 4 of us listen to J-music, and everyone knows Ayu. 2 of the other girls listen to more J-Rock, and the guy that sits next to me lived in Japan so he may be an exception, but at least we know who she is. No one is as obsessed as I am though - my license plate is TeamAyu!

Not really famous, but Brazil is the 2nd country in the world with the biggest japanese population (2nd only to Japan), so, there is a lot of people around here that know her, mainly people who enjoy japanese stuff... Still, there are a lot of people who like these stuff on here...

When people are checking J-Music they first check out Visual Kei bands like AnCafe, GazettE, Moi Dix Mois, Dir en Grey, D'espairsRay etc
Some are amazed by their looks and music but others are just like "these are men????? omg they loook sooooo gaaaaaaay!!!!11" (I remember this kind of fight on a forum x_x)

Anyway, I'm happy that she isn't very famous here, after I listened to a Romanian song that copied entirely a K-Pop song ("Because I'm a Girl" by Kiss) I was like " please don't do something like that to Ayu, pleeeeease! x_x"
