Already saying that Johnny's album sales are lower, I'm not surprised. But not outselling Kusabi...what's going on? Oh yeah, "come Here" had TWO editions, NOT three... But what about the member composition since the last album? What about Koki Tanaka?

JIN AKANISHI REVEALS HIS COMEBACK PLANS + LEAKED SINGLE INFO

To coincide with his 30th birthday, the US independence day, this July 4th Japanese national icon Jin Akanishi has announced his entertainment industry comeback on his website .

The site, which had a countdown timer going for some time revealed an upcoming photobook release, titled “WORK HARD PLAY HARD“, along with a new fanclub (“JIPs”) (currently Japanese only), news, biography, discography, movie, and store sections, as well as a staff blog. The once internationally shamed “That’s What She Said” singer ends his biography with a promise of a new era, saying “Launch of own label, the start of a new beginning.” Leading to speculation that future Akanishi Jin releases will be independently published.

Akanishi Jin Establishes Independent Label & Official Fan Club

Jin Akanishi has proclaimed July 4th "Jindependence Day" as he launches his new website, an official fanclub and his own label.

For days, Akanishi has been teasing fans with the impending launch of his new official site. Upon going live, the singer revealed he was forming an official fanclub and his own label.

Akanishi's fanclub will be called "JIP". The letter stand for "Jin's Important People". Fanclub membership includes a membership card, opportunities to purchase goods, member-exclusive web content, and other special features. For now, fanclub membership is limited to people in Japan.

The singer's biography also revealed that he has launched his own label today. Further details have not been disclosed.

Jin Akanishi left Johnny's Entertainment at the end of February this year. The singer is now preparing for an independent career.

KAT-TUN’s First National Tour As Four Members

On July 8, KAT-TUN kicked off their “KAT-TUN LIVE TOUR 2014 come Here” by returning to their very first concert stage at the Tokyo International Forum, after 12 years. Back in 2002 during pre- debut, 550,000 fans applied for tickets for their concert at the said venue. Returning to the concert venue has been like re-starting their memories. This is also KAT-TUN’s first tour as a 4 member group . The tour will continue on with 22 more performances in 10 locations, and will end at Kyocera Dome for another year end Countdown Live.

“It feels tense to face the audience at this distance, but it also makes me determined,” Kamenashi Kazuya commented. Ueda Tatsuya also feels uneasy, “but doing first tour here is impressive, I’ll make this a day to remember”. Taguchi Junnosuke hopes that the distance between them and the hyphens (=fan) will be closer, and Nakamaru Yuichi feels emotional because it’s like returning to starting point that it evokes a sense of recklessness. When he watched the members rehearse their solos beside the stage, it made him recall his memories from 12 years ago which almost made him cry.

Kamenashi said that the tour may not have been possible if it weren’t for the voices of the fans. Thus, their latest album and tour is titled – come Here – to show the closeness of their relationship with their fans. “H” is in capital to signify their 8th original album, in which “H” also happens to be the 8th letter in the English alphabet, and “H” also stands for hyphens.

Akanishi Jin announces his new single 'Good Time'

Akanishi Jin will be releasing a new single "Good Time" on August 6.This will be the first release from Akanishi's own label Go Good Records.

Regarding the new song, Akanishi who wrote/composed/produced it, explained, "I wrote this song with the image of summer, so I was conscious of exhilarating feelings and boldness. I expressed my hope for those who listen to this song to enjoy every day of their lives."

"Good Times" will have 2 types of limited editions, as well as a regular edition.
